1 star too many
I’ve seen Dr. K twice this pregnancy & that was 2 times too many (she also didn’t even remember me at 2nd visit). She’s callous, dismissive, & overtly condescending despite only being polite & warm to her. She does NOT know her facts nor can she provide any evidence or data for her recommendations. For example, she recommended I take a medication that’s historically been unsafe to take during pregnancy, so I read the study thoroughly before doing so. This med is only recommended if certain risk factors exist, & when I asked her which risk factors she thought I had, she could not answer my question (likely because I did not have a SINGLE risk factor). Instead, she replied with a snarky remark & attempted to make me feel guilty for not blindly following her rec. I asked several other OBGYNs, & all of them strongly disagreed with her rec. She’s charted inaccurate data & added a diagnosis to my medical history that I don’t even have to my chart that I can’t rectify. Avoid at all costs.

Do NOT see this provider for anything other than routine exams. I had issues with pelvic pain and random bleeding for a few years. She ordered an ultrasound and started me on medroxyprogesterone for ovarian cysts. I was told to take this for 3 months and that it would reset my period. My symptoms recurred after stopping the medication so I went back to see her. During my follow up appointment she did not open my chart, was extremely condescending, and told me I wasn’t ovulating without doing any lab work. She wanted me to restart the medication without a cause for the continued pain and bleeding. My symptoms were blow off because my didn’t want to become pregnant. I finally saw another provider who did lab work which proved I was ovulating. After additional testing I found out I had multiple endometrial polyps. Since having them removed my symptoms have resolved. Save yourself the trouble and see a provider who will listen.

Stay far away from this doctor
Unprofessional, rude, and condescending. She should not be in this profession. There are many other talented, caring doctors out there don’t waste your time or dignity seeing this one.

Did we see the same doctor?
I did not read the reviews prior to choosing Dr. Kridgen and I am so grateful that I did not. From the moment I walked into the office I was treated with kindness and my nervousness was put at ease. This was my first appointment with Dr. Kridgen and she met with me prior to completing my exam to get to know me and any concerns that I may have had. She was warm and friendly and gave me realistic advice for my concerns. The exam was quick and painless, for the first time someone offered to use a smaller speculum and it honestly changed the whole experience for me. I have recommended Dr. Kridgen to my partner and my two best friends. Thanks to her I will ensure that I make and keep my yearly appointments. She really was nothing like the negative reviews.

Her political viewpoints and dismissive attitude are very unsettling especially when you are in quite a vulnerable setting. I regret seeing her and sharing the recommendation I received for her with my daughter. We both had unsettling experiences.

Was condescending and dismissive of concerns, reframed same information when I stated I already knew said information and was seeking additional advice/suggestions. Very brusque and callous. It was all I could do not to cry as I left the office. The other doctors at this practice are amazing! I hope I can schedule around Dr. Kridgen's hours in the future. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Uncaring. Very dismissive. Made fun of my nervousness I was there for a biopsy. When she told me I had cancer she asked how I felt about that. Should have remained in her 1st profession as an engineer.

Dr. Kridgen acts like she does not have the time of day for you or your concerns. She does not belong in this practice because the other doctors are awesome. She is very dismissive and acts like your concerns are not valid.
