I absolutely adore Dr. Deforest. I have been seeing her for a couple of years and I wouldn’t change her for anyone else. I thought she used to be a nurse at some point in her life because she is that caring. I’m not saying doctors don’t care, but she took care of me holistically as a nurse would do. The nurses & front desk staff are also amazing, accommodating, and kind. She is a little busy, but that only means that she is great at what she does. She takes time out of her busy schedule to h

Extremely caring and thorough. Takes the time to explain everything in "normal" language. Very nice staff! Makes a normally unpleasant experience into something very comfortable!

She likes to stereotype and restricts your diet. My son was full term and underweight because she told me that I could not eat any carbs or gain weight during my pregnancy. I was 135 lbs pre-pregnancy and at 8.5 months, I was only 145lbs. Each checkup, she would tell me that I could only gain 1lb. This was my first pregnancy and I followed her advice. My son stopped moving in utero and then she sent me to get induced. She never showed her face at the hospital during or after my delivery.

I've been a patient for 10 years. She delivered my healthy 9 year old son. I've kept her as my primary GYN ever since. Highly recommended. My mom is even a patient of hers now after seeing how will she cared for me throughout my pregnancy and labor & delivery.
