Unprofessional and undertrained. Never offers to try and figure out your reason for seeing a doctor when she doesn't know the issue...Always responds: 'I'm not sure what could be the reason'. ??

We chose her to be our PCP after our dr retired. She seemed to be extremly well qualified. Can't remember how many times we saw her even. BUT she took my husband off 3 meds at once, including one that you can't stop taking all at once. It thru him into such a negative state that I thought he was dying! It took month for him to recover. We were never able to get same-day appts with her, she didnt read/respond to her email in 24 hrs, more like 3 or 4 days. She responded to refill requests from pharmacy oequally slow. Plus I suffer fr a chronic pain disorder & arthritis. I'd gone thru a great pain management program, twice & took a great deal of time figuring out a medication routine that offered me relief. She kept wanting to change my meds around and wouldn't listen to me telling her how she wanted wouldn't work for me and why. After our brief encounters with her, we switched drs and are thankful Kaiser let's you switch PCPs whenever you want. No more Dr. Dave for us!

Ms Dave always has an excuse to not provide any useful treatment. She refused to do a rectal exam on my elderly father and has yet after an entire year to do a complete physical exam on him. He is wheelchair bound and has multiple illnesses but all she seems capable of is going through his list of medications and having a brief 10 minute chat or suggesting new pills without doing a proper exam first. Very disappointing.
