Dr. Padmaja Gutti, MD

I had two bad falls and hit my head very hard both times. After a short time, I seemed to be having problems with my memory. Late in the afternoon the day before my appointment she canceled. The next available appointment was four months later. I decided to go elsewhere.

Terrible communicator who reverts to gaslighting and manipulation when being held to account.

Dr. Gutti always listens to my concerns and offers sound advice. She has a friendly , yet professional manner. She shows that she is very capable and concerned about the patient's wellness. I would highly reccommend her.

Cold first meeting, asked the same questions 5 times in a row even after being told firmly the answer twice. Spent more time talking about what insurance will cover vs my medical concerns. Felt like I was being spoken as if I were an idiot. Did not address my concerns. I will not be going back to her.

Dismissive. Improper diagnosis. Her bedside manner is quick and uncaring.

Dr Gutti is dismissive, close minded, and rude. From the moment she walked into the exam room, I could sense how cold and unfriendly she was. She saw anxiety disorder on my chart and ran with that. She didn’t listen to anything I said: she had already decided all my symptoms were caused by anxiety. It was clear she isn’t knowledgeable on my condition and does not keep up with current research. She tried to gaslight me into believing that it was my fault that I’m disabled and that I wasn’t trying to get better. She also told me I’m too young to be so sick and unable to work, it was time to “get up and get back to work”. I was literally in tears by the end of the appointment after listening her tell me it’s my fault that I’m disabled, and that my disability isn’t real so I need to just ignore my symptoms and get back to living a normal life. She lacks compassion, has a massive ego, and clearly lacks intelligence

I was left waiting in her office for 45 minutes--she never showed for the appointment. I changed my doctor. She is very unprofessional to no-show to the appointment.

Lack of empathy. Arrogant to a fault.

Dr. Gutti initially seemed to doubt that I had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. I answered her questions about how it felt. I explained that my father and brother both had this condition but she was dismissive about this and recommended that I have an MRI and another procedure (electrical but not sure of name). I did not want to have an MRI because it is expensive (I have Medicare) and someone pays for it. It also increases exposure to radiation.

Try to avoid her service.

Dr. Gutti has been a wonderful neurologist who cares about her patients. The ease of appointments and call back due to a chronic condition has been a blessing

Dr Gutti has a poor bedside manner and isn’t open to being questioned. Unfortunately I am paralyzed from a previous injury and was back in the hospital, but had many questions/concerns based on my history, she was not open to questions. For,example, my request for assistance besides Valium for a 3 hr MRI were ingnored. However, when I went for the MRI, anasthieoligist said to put me fully under, as otherwise head is put in a vice for test to avoid any movement. Many more instances occurred.

I was sent to Dr. Gutti, MD, for a problem with my neck and from the time she walked in the room I felt she was a very thorough and understanding Doctor. Very professional and friendly, she listens to what you say and takes notes and makes suggestions. I trust Dr. Gutti and would recommend her to anyone that I can. She set up more appointments without hesitation for me and I was very happy to have connected with her. Thank you Dr. Gutti.

Was told see her after my hospital visit . Did not feel like she cared and never got calls back from her when she would tell she would call me back . Still yet no diagnosis and feel like she does not understand my health situation .

She called me with MRI results from an office where she did not have my file. Said she would call back when she returned to the office that had my file. Never called. I waited a week and left a callback message for her. She never called.
