Your heart is in good hands with Dr. Khawaja
I was referred to Dr. Khawaja in September of 2021. Over the course of the year, he did a cath procedure and saw me for office visits about half a dozen times. In every single encounter, he was outstandingly attentive, professional, and punctual. He consistently took the time to listen and address my concerns and questions whether in person, or on the phone. Physicians do not normally do this and the fact that Dr. Khawaja repeatedly makes time for his patients speaks very highly of his dedication and care. Another noteworthy point is that he never asked for a review. It is quite obvious when a doctor or a doctor's office solicits reviews, but Dr. Khawaja never did. He cares more for his patients than his own self image. I came to him in pretty bad shape. I chose to follow his recommendations, even though I didn't agree with him all the time. A year later, I have improved remarkably. There is no doubt that he knows what he is doing and has earned my respect and trust.

Questionable treatment.
My sister’s angiogram was scheduled for 9:30am. He was late getting started with case before hers, so didn’t take her in until 11:45am. No apologies. I think his conservative treatment of heart problems is a bit too lax. He placed one stent in a 90% blocked arteries, but left 3 other blockages of 60-70% untreated. I will be encouraging my sister to get a second opinion.

He was rude and arrogant. He installed a Stent in me and BOTCHED the operation. I suffered extreme pain for a month and ended up with permanently damaged nerves and muscles in my right hand and arm. It cost me $10,000 to have the damage, he did, repaired and he refused to accept responsibility. He is a HACK. Run for your life...

This was my first visit with Dr Khawaja. Very kind and encouraging; personable, unhurried and relaxed attitude. Listened attentively to description of symptoms and takes notes; emphasizes the positive without making mountains out of molehills; as a self-pay I appreciated his conservative (as needed) and financially reasonable approach to suggested treatment and followup - I’d recommend this doctor in a heartbeat :)
