Never had a problem came in with 13.5a1c now I'm at 5.8

Dr. Brusco is respectful, takes his time, and listens to any concerns I may have and reviews labs during my visits. He expects his patients to keep track of blood sugars and It keeps me accountable for my health.

Took my stepdad to Dr Brusco for the first visit today his office staff is very nice .. I was very impressed with the Dr. he is thorough and knowledgeable. He took his time and explained everything. Very pleasant Doctor.

Dr. Brusco is treating my high blood pressure, I have been under his care for over 20yrs. and he correctly diagnosed my reason for my high b.p. I went from taking 8 pills a day to 1 small pill a day , my B.P. is now at a normal level . Highly recommend

My PCP referred me to Dr. Osvaldo Brusco more than five years ago when my thyroid levels were severely out of range and my symptoms were running rampant. I had a total thyroidectomy in 1998 due to Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis so it was extremely important to monitor and correct thyroid hormone levels that essentially control or affect functions of the entire body. My PCP was confident that Dr. Brusco was the most competent doctor to conduct testing and research to figure out my exact thyroid problem. On a regular basis, he did calculations according to my blood test results to determine the amounts of various hormones I needed to take. It has been working very well, so I am confident that my thyroid needs are being well monitored. He is very serious and proficient in his work as well as very courteous and professional. I have many additional medical problems so I am extremely thankful to have Dr. Brusco as the ‘guardian’ of my thyroid, helping me to feel much better.

Long wait to see the doctor, but so worth the wait. The doctor examined my husband(insulin dependent for 20 years)was extremely thorough. My husband was taking 16 units of insulin twice daily along with 2000mg metaformin and A1c was at 10.9. His fasting glucose level was between 285-320 and was limiting carbs to 2 servings per meal, only consuming diet drinks. The doctor set a goal to control his glucose and get him off insulin. I was skeptical. Now, it is two months later and he has lost weight is A1c is now 10.4 feels great no insulin. Dr Brusco did the impossible. I now realize that his long visits are because he takes time to educate and get to know his patients. He is an endocrinologist that is involved in various research studies that keep him current on the newest treatments for diabetics. This apparently has enabled him to be successful with his patients.

Dr Brusco is an extremely good Doctor. Took my A1c from a high 7 to 5.3. Helped me to lose 35 or more pounds. Need a doctor for your type 2 diabetes this is the one.

This doctor is wonderful I started with a nine on my A1c and now I am at a five, he is really thorough, and explain everything to you and helps you with your diet I also lost weight the staff is wonderful also.

He sufrido problemas severos de hipertiroidismo desde mi juventud, que me llevaron a una Tiroidectomía a los 27 años de edad para evitar mayores complicaciones oftálmicas. Después de la cirugía como era de esperarse pase a ser hipotiroidea. Lamentablemente con el paso de los años los síntomas de hipotiroidismo se acentuaron, pase por diversos medicos. sin conseguir un panel tiroideo normal, con los consiguientes signos y síntomas en uñas, pelo, piel, dolor en articulaciones, problemas emocionales, dificultad para concentrarme. Finalmente mi TSH llego a ser alarmantemente alta y mi medico de familia me derivo a Dr. Brusco. I first saw Dr. Brusco about 4 years ago. My Primary Care Physition (PCP) referred me to nim. My testosterone level at that time was zero. I believe my primary result of that condition was that I was suicidal. Dr. Brusco quickly diagnosed my condition, prescribed medication and cured my primary ill. He has monitored me periodically, changing my dosage as needed to stabalize my condition. Interesting: I mentioned my referral to Dr. Brusco to my other 4 Specialists. Each of them had nothing but rave reviews about him expressing the greatest respect for him and his abilities. I could not be more pleased.

Even though visits are still done by phone instead of in person, Dr. Brusco pays attention to every detail and does not rush your appointment. I would indeed recommend him as your physician.
