I have received care and oversight from many doctors. Dr. Hernandez is absolutely the best of the best. He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, and thorough. He stays on top of new medical information and can quote most of it from memory. He is awesome!

Best Doctor exelent care ??

Firstly, the lack of attentiveness and care for patients is completely unacceptable. Every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their medical journey. If Dr. Hernandez is failing to provide this basic level of care, it not only reflects poorly on his practice but also puts patients' health at risk.Additionally, the difficulty in obtaining referrals to see specialists or other healthcare providers is incredibly frustrating. Access to specialized care is essential for proper diagnosis and treatment, and any obstacles in obtaining referrals can significantly delay or impede the recovery process for patients.Furthermore, the unclear assessments of medical records and lab results indicate a lack of professionalism and competence on Dr. Hernandez's part. Patients rely on their healthcare providers to accurately interpret and explain medical information, and if this is not being done effectively, it can lead to confusion, misinformation, and improper treatm

This is the sort of family practice from the past where you develop a relationship and over time the doctor just knows what you need and gets things done. The staff seems a little lost in confusion sometimes and that’s why I take off one star. They need to organize and modernize. But they are super sweet and really try.

Personal Attention and Understanding

"He really cares about his patients" this should be enough to say about any doctor. Also, he explains clearly and take his time with a patient

Doctor Gil and Doctor Hernandez and the RN - 5 stars Personal in the lab 5 stars Front Desk 1 star - They have never learned what respect and what customer service is. From the first office Dr. Hernandez had in 88 and 127 ave, through the other office in 120 street through their current office. The Front Desk is always being the worst of the worst. I will not recommend to go there if you don't want to start having heart issues.

Horrible doctor office front desk is extremely incompetent and does not understand the definition of HIPPA. Which is very important in the medical field. They throw the word around in order to avoid the simplest task. Like send a lab requisition form to a diagnosis center for labs to be drawn. Instead they ask you to drive to office to pick up lab order because they state it a violation of HIPPA. I've called for a week already and left message with Gladys who states she will have someone call me to see if its possible to complete my request. I high recommended you look for a different doctor office. When i asked her to email me a medical release form to change doctors she advised me that was against HIPPA too. I am not one to complain as I work in the medical field myself and know it can be stressful but using a term like HIPPA to get out of the simplest task is ridiculous. Hopefully this review will get me a call back.

Dr Hernandez is the most caring Dr God made He treats everyone with compassion and respect. I would and have put my life in his hands. Unfortunately I moved out of town and having trouble finding a Dr that can come anywhere close to Dr Hernandez. If you have to wait in the waiting room don’t worry. He will spend quality time with you too

He is highly knowledgeable and personable. His practice is busy and waiting time varies, but worth the time. I moved away for 3 years and now back in Miami I will be seeing him and taking my daughter as well.

I've been going to Dr. Oscar Hernandez for years and he has always been very straight forward explaining his findings and eager to help you with any situation, getting you back to good health.

The office staff is very rude. Just went once and will never go back again. The doctor is ok but honestly if the office staff can't be tolerated then why bother. I can find another.
