Dr. Oscar Hernandez, MD

When I first was a patient at the clinic, I had another fellow that I did not like at all. The following year for my annual, I was given to Dr. Hernandez who was new with the practice. He was AMAZING. Very well bedside manner. Courteous and explains thoroughly. He was the only reason why I stayed with the practice. So, so, sadden to hear he's leaving and I wish to follow wherever he moves to, no matter the distance. Exceptional MD.

My 2nd visit and while the staff is the usual, the doctor is wonderful. He is leaving and I would like to know where he is going. I would prefer my daughter and adult granddaughter only see him.

I’m saddened that Mr Hernandez is leaving and would likely follow him wherever he furthers his practice. I find it concerning that he is no longer continuing to practice here at Valley Baptist physician network and fee his care was always 100%. He is an exceptional doctor and clearly puts his patients as priority. The concern you should have is with the phones not being answered , the lack of responsibility by front desk workers. I’ve called to provide imperative insurance information only to find that when I return a follow up visit that my information was never recorded hence a pointless telephone call that took too long

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Hernández explained all my options, and helped ease all of my concerns. He answers all your questions with great detail and explanation. Overall great experience.

First time visit and I liked it more than I thought I would. Answers questions, gives you details.. I recommend it.

Such an Amazing staff and Dr. I’m so grateful we moved here for our first pregnancy. If you’re looking for an Ob-Gyn who is going to take the time to take care of you, here he is.

Dr. Hernandez is the best! Never left a question unanswered. He made sure to explain well and put us at ease. He takes the time to know us and never felt like just another paycheck with him. I won't be going to anybody else. I totally recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Hernandez has been my OB for my entire pregnancy. I’m high risk and now 33 weeks along and there’s no other doctor I trust more than I do him. His bedside manner is like that of a close friend, he genuinely cares to help and is the kindest most helpful physician I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is incredibly thoughtful and thorough and explains everything in great detail. Although the wait times in the office can be a little long, he’s so very worth the wait. There’s no other OBGYN I trust more than I do Dr. Hernandez, he’s simply the best at what he does and there’s a soft natured humility about him that you fail to find in other OBGYN’s. He is truly one of a kind.

I saw Dr. Hernandez twice for a problem that should have warranted more serious consideration and deeper diagnosis. My condition was off handedly managed. When I visited another gynecologist, I found I had a large cancerous cervical tumor, which would have been found earlier if my complaints were taken more seriously.
