Don’t bother going if your symptoms aren’t flashing like a neon sign. She noted my “celiac disease” as an explanation for all of my ongoing symptoms, even though I haven’t eaten gluten for 2 years. I was previously diagnosed with gluten sensitivity, not celiac disease, with only IGG raised by one point, and then normal. IGG is not a reliable test. She questioned why I had said I felt better when I stopped eating gluten 2 years ago. I told her it is because my symptoms go through flare cycles and I assumed the remission of a flare meant it was working; it did not work. She then told me that I’m just tired because I have fibromyalgia (her diagnosis). I was just found to have very low iron. I told her I have scoliosis, shown in an X-ray, and her response was “Who told you that?” She ignored one of my portal messages for three weeks and then responded to say “No doctor is going to pursue this.”
