Dr. Molina was so kind and reassuring. I was so nervous because I hadn't been to a gynecologist and four years. It's always uncomfortable, and Dr. Molina couldn't have been kinder.

I had an incredible surgery outcome with Dr. Molina in Gig Harbor. Procedure: Mymectomy (vaginally removed fibroid inside my uterus). Need for surgery: Severe menstrual bleeding during menstrual cycle; causing dangerous anemia. I was never in pain before or after the surgery. Total Appts: 3 -1 initial consult (fast appt.) -1 Surgery appt. (a few hrs) -1 (2 week) post operation (fast appt.) My PCP/OBGYN researched the most experienced mymectomy surgeon to preserve my fertility. He stated if he cannot find someone in the state of WA, he would refer me to TX. After 1 month of my Dr. researching, he found Dr. Molina. After my surgery I was expected to be in a lot of pain for the first 3 days. Possibly pain on and off and bleeding for 8 weeks post surgery. Friday-Surgery Day: Immediately coming out of anesthesia the day of surgery, I felt absolutely ZERO pain. I took very minimal pain meds the day of surgery (as friends urged me to “get ahead of the pain even if I didn’t feel any.”) Sat-Day After Surgery: The following morning after surgery, I woke up and I still had no pain. Nearly no signs that I had even had a surgery done at all. I was in such disbelief that for a brief moment, I had wondered if he had even done the surgery. That day, the only sign I had was VERY minor spotting and even LESS minor discharge. Sun-2 Days Post Surgery: The second day post surgery there was no spotting, there was no discharge, and I still had ZERO pain. 2 weeks post Mymectomy surgery: I waited to do this review to see if I would have any complications upon my first menstrual cycle after the surgery. All of the reviews women have written about having a Mymectomy were true for me. First menstrual cycle post Mymectomy: I am now on day 4 of my period and it is an absolute miracle. Prior to the surgery I was bleeding so heavy. I was dangerously anemic and anxious about the excessive blood loss during my period. This is the first period in 3-4 years where I have good energy and I feel great! I’m bleeding at a normal rate. It is an absolute miracle. It is as if he went inside my uterus and just simply “turned the blood faucet off.” With no signs of him being in my uterus afterward. I have no idea how Dr. Molina pulled off the surgery to have an outcome like this. It was not expected and it is truly mind blowing. I am so grateful every single day since the moment I woke up out of anesthesia. I had no need to take pain medication. I took two ibuprofens a day for the first six days after surgery; just because it felt “odd” not to take anything at all after a major surgery. The doctor is a miracle worker in my case. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends and to ALL WOMEN. To come out of a major surgery and feel better immediately than you did before the surgery is something significant to note about this doctor’s abilities. He’s a miracle worker in my case and I am beyond grateful. Highly recommend Dr. Molina and Dr. Robinson: Any woman that is going through excessive bleeding the way I have during their menstrual cycle you cannot go wrong with Dr. Molina. I’m so beyond grateful for this doctor and I highly recommend him to all women. Dr. Robinson was my anesthesiologist and he did a wonderful job keeping me alive as well (which I feel many people fear when they go under anesthesia). I was not groggy or sick waking up. ZERO nausea that day (and I ate A LOT when I got home).- Thanks to my Anesthesiologist, Dr. Robinson. We all deserve to feel our best and not have our menstrual cycles affect our ability to go to work or leave our home! Don’t put your surgery off like I did. I could have felt this way YEARS ago if I had done my due diligence and just gotten the blood work done. Again, I cannot thank Dr. Molina and Dr. Robinson enough for the life changing surgery. God bless you both!!! ????

Lucky to get an appointment with him
Dr. O. Molina is a key player in saving my life. I had a procedure done by him that was needed! It was not fun but he was compassionate, concerned about my well being and ensured my comfortability during the entire procedure. He didn't rush. I had an appointment for a specific issue and he addressed it. On top of that he made a point in letting me know the findings and explained exactly what I needed to do, what needs to happen and what specialist I needed moving forward. I am very lucky to have him on my team/path of getting better.

Nope
Big yikes. Saw him after a miscarriage and didn't feel like I was treated with compassion. At a follow up appointment, I was told he ordered a pelvic exam, which I declined as I wasn't due for one and didn't feel emotionally prepared for that literally right after a pregnancy loss. After knowing I declined it, he insisted I should have the exam. Never asked if I would like one today, nor did he ask any screening questions about my mental health after the loss. When I let him know I was not due for one for a while, he straight up lied about previous pap results as reasoning for needing one. He did not seem to take patient preferences into account when answering questions, and made me feel very uncomfortable. Also could not explain why his recommendations differed from ACOG's. 0/10. If I could go back in time, I would insist on anyone else.

Dr. Molina did not seem to refer to my medical records before any appointments and at one point thought I was due a month before I was, and more alarmingly, did not know I was due for a Rhogam shot as I am RH negative and my husband is positive. I had to tell him I needed it, otherwise they wouldn’t have offered. Towards the end of my pregnancy he told me I was high risk and would likely need to be induced within the next 48 hours due to low amniotic fluid. At the appointment he said it was urgent and needed to be confirmed and booked with a specialist ASAP. When the specialist he referred me to did not have any appointments in the next week, Dr. Molina refused to speak to me or my husband on the phone and had his nurse relay the message that “it was probably fine”. Had he looked at the wrong record like he had done previously? Why was the level of urgency changed suddenly? I ended up going into another hospital to get checked and they said everything looked fine. Avoid.

I tend to get anxious just going to the Dr. Especially for female issues. His nurse that took me back was friendly and wonderful at calming my nerves and even got me further information regarding my upcoming surgery and I wasn't even being seen for that. When Dr Molina entered the room he introduced himself to myself and my husband, did the exam and took the time to explain his findings and plan for treatment. He was pleasant and thorough and my anxiety disappeared.
