Dr. Onyinye Ugboaja, MD

I will definitely recommend Dr Ugboaja because I had a great experience with her. First of all, there was no wait at all, she jumped on to the visit right away and was able to identify the problem quickly , offered the right treatment and made appropriate recommendations compasionately, I could tell she really cared as she proceeded to ask more questions related to the genesis of the problem which is truly lacking these days, I felt more comfortable as our conversation went on , did not feel rushed at all. It could not have been better!

When I had no choice, I used MDLive for a simple prescription request and this provider stated that what I described to her was normal. I absolutely was not going through anything normal and was unable to get my issues resolved. She sounded so uninterested in my concern, I would never return to her even if I was paid.

She sounded tired, almost slurred during our phone visit. To be fair it was 5:30pm but it was a bit disconcerting. Then she asked me about medications on my chart which were totally unrelated to what I was visiting for; thinly veiled curiosity about my personal life that wasn’t appropriate. However, she did the job and prescribed me the inhaler I needed, albeit she was offish.

This Dr listened to me when I was sick, I made multiple attempts to reach out to my doctor but never got a call back, I then reached out to Dr Ugboaja, she was so kind and empathetic, provided me with treatment that made me feel much better and saved me a trip to ER and from having huge bills to pay, I’m so grateful to Dr Ugboaja.

Rude. Stubborn. Wouldn't listen. Then hung up on me. Wife ended up being diagnosed with meningitis. Week long stay in the hospital.

Very helpful Dr. and attentive to details, made sure I understood everything about my illness with no rush! I love the fact she reviews everything with no stone unturned and makes appropriate references or referals.

For the past 7 years I call Telemedicine 1-2x a year for antibiotics to treat a UTI. I have a personal medical condition that’s makes me more likely to have a uti. I called telemedicine and explained the situation, my history, how’s its fairly standard, and what was needed. This “doctor” immediately and rudely responded “There is no chance she’s prescribing me antibiotics and told me to go to the ER”. I began explaining my situation again and she starts yelling at me that “she knows more about medicine than I do, she was a trama nurse…”. I asked how it made any sense to send me to the ER when she can see in my history antibiotics work successfully and it’s been over 10 months since my last episode. SHE HUNG UP ON ME.

Incredibly rude and condescending.

I love every bit of my consultation, it went great , all t's crossed and i's dotted, my expectations and more were met, felt well taken care of after my visit, will definitely recommend her, very professional and intelligent, she earned my trust after my visit!!

MD Live appointment. No show. Next doc on the line immediately! Not respectful of patient's time.

I have never been treated the way this doctor treated me from an MD live appointment. She constantly talks over you and is condescending and then proceeds to tell you patients are the problem. I think she is burnt out in her job and needs a new career. In her new career she should stay away from anything customer service related.

My visit went extremely well. She identified the issue and gave me clear instructions as to what to do. She was very knowledgeble and made sure I understood everything before ending the visit.

Dr. Ugboaja is such a great physician, I have had great positive experiences with her. She is quite thorough and very helpful. Was able to help out with what my previous Dr missed. She is a very smart Dr. Thank you .

I Had MDLive appointment tonight with this “doctor.” After I explained my health condition that has been lifelong and diagnosed by multiple physicians, this individual did not believe what I was saying. She refused to look into the issue further and constantly spoke over me. Just told me to talk to my doctor, impossible to do at almost midnight on a Saturday night. Do not waste your time as this one obviously cannot fulfill her oath and does not seem interested in helping people. I would think a doctor would have at least heard about a major medical condition affecting perhaps 1 in 5 people. Maybe she should have went for a different career.

She took her time listening. She was caring and compassionate, never rushed.
