I first met Dr. Shay and Dr. Enayati back in 2021 during my first diverticulitis episode. At the time, they were both ethical, professional, and genuinely helped me through my treatment. However, in November 2024, I was hospitalized for 10 days for the same condition, and my experience with them has completely changed. After being discharged, I tried to schedule follow-ups with Dr. Shay and Dr. Enayati, but I haven’t been able to see either of them in person since then. Instead, one of their associates would call me over the phone, diagnosing me without an actual exam and prescribing the same medication over and over, which obviously isn’t working. Since November, my diverticulitis has flared up four times, and yet, instead of taking a serious look at my condition, they keep pushing for a colonoscopy while ignoring my worsening symptoms. It’s clear they no longer care about their patients—just passing cases off to associates who do the bare minimum. Now, my next appointment isn’t until March 13, but at this rate, I’ll likely be back in the hospital before then. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of care is unacceptable. Patients deserve real medical attention, not endless phone calls and repeated prescriptions that don’t solve the issue. I’ll be leaving this feedback across all platforms so others are aware. If you’re considering Dr. Shay or Dr. Enayati, think twice. Patients deserve better. #MedicalNegligence #UnprofessionalDoctors #HealthcareFailure #PatientCareMatters #Diverticulitis

Awful. Waste of Time. Scammer.
It’s been a few years (hence why I never went back). First off, his office staff is extremely rude and disorganized. Second, Dr. Shaye himself is an entitled narcissist. His office tried to charge me for a procedure that he never even performed on me! Ridiculous! You’d be lucky if you ever spoke with him on the phone if you called in with an issue. I once called the office for three days straight without a return phone call. His receptionist said that he’s very busy and will get to you as soon as he can.He was supposed to perform a colonoscopy and endoscopy on me, however a more costly procedure with another patient came along so he pawned me off to an associate. Best favor he ever did for me! Dr. Tova Sofer was kind, caring, professional and explained everything clearly. I’m not a typical patient as I do have a stomach disease. I followed Dr. Sofer to her new practice and I couldn’t be happier. She will call me promptly from her home if necessary. She is so caring and attentive.

Catherine
Do not waste your time and money here. The office is EXTREMELY unorganized, they rescheduled me four times and didn't know what time they rescheduled me for. Two different admins were calling me trying to confirm the different times within five minutes of each other. Waited over an hour to see Dr Shaye who spent maybe ten minutes with me at most. He ordered some tests which I did, then silence. I call them two weeks after appointment and they claim they were right about to call me with results but cannot speak to me until i make another appointment and they're not available for another three weeks. Finally had appointment and his PA (not even dr shaye) says the reason why it took so long was due to me not completing the tests. Turns out they forgot to give me the tests to take. Then she tried to say it was my fault for not paying for the tests, so that's why they were delayed. This PA was rude as well and really could not care less about my health. A 0/10 horrible experience, DO NOT GO HERE.

Dishonest doctor and scamming office
Scammers! Do not go to this doctor! They are dishonest. I had a issues with stomach and went for a check up. Upon every visit I paid for seeing the doctor and tests. On the day of the procedure we were told that we need to pay additional $500 cash in order to avoid any farther bills. Which we did. Then two years after they sent me another bill despite what we were told. I explained that we paid all the fees already, my insurance paid, plus cash. They completely ignore what they said to us and keep making up every possible fee that was already taken cared off two years ago! This doctor and his office is a complete scam! Not trustworthy.

Dr. Shaye is the most amazing, caring, nurturing and brilliant doctor. He immediately diagnosed what my stomach issues were. His assistant Jessica and his entire office staff are the most friendly, warm and kind people I have ever encountered. I am very grateful to have met Dr. Shaye and feel very secure in his care. Even though I have many questions, he is always so patient and thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Shaye to anyone who has any stomach issues.

Dr shea performed my upper endoscopy today. The whole procedure was painless, and dr Shea had taken quite a bit of time to explain it all to me beforehand as I was nervous. He seems extremely competent and experienced.

Dr. Shaye doesn't spend much time with patients & you will have to call for test results. He ordered about $10k worth of tests before sending me to a specialist, who diagnosed me after one visit and a routine breath test. I went to Dr. Shaye's office for blood work which he stated would NOT be sent to a particular lab (which is notoriously expensive) and then when the sample WAS sent to the lab in question, Dr. Shaye would not even return my calls concerning his error. He is motivated by money.
