Dr. Omar El Kawkgi, MD

I am incredibly saddened and disappointed by the treatment I received by Dr Omar. I have been under his care for 2 years and have recently moved 3 hrs away, it took me a while to find a new specialist that is in network as we have our insurance through the military which can make it tricky. Now that I found a specialist, I am also running low on my prescription (which I cannot go off off and have been on for 10+ years). When trying to make a new appointment with the specialist in my area they say I need a referral and as a new patient I can’t be seen for 5 months at the earliest. I reached out to Dr Omar El Kawkgi and he would not refill my prescription or write a referral, but kept calling and saying I needed to make an appointment even though I explained I no longer lived in the area. After weeks I ran out of my medication and had to quickly get in with a new primary in the area who was kind enough to refill my prescription and write a referral the same day to help me get an appointm
