Dr. Omar Baez, MD

The doctor talked down to me about how my doctors had failed me and spent my entire visit guilting me for not responding to medications he expected me to respond to or making fun of me for other medications I take outside of his specialty. He confidently informed me I needed to take a medication I had taken previously again because in the past I didn’t take it correctly or for long enough (without asking how long I tried the med?). He made it clear he didn’t understand my case and didn’t want to take the time to help me and it felt like his goal was to make me feel so bad I no longer want treatment because he didn’t want to touch the case. If I tried to ask questions about tests being performed- he called me anxious for doing so. I didn’t understand and made it clear I didn’t understand and he bullied me until I had to stop asking questions. Nothing he said was consistent with any of my other doctors and I don’t trust that he was listening.

I’ve always said: “If the best doctor isn’t a great human being, then he isn’t the best!” Dr. Omar Baez has the perfect combination. I don’t doubt about recommending him as neurologist and as the kind of person he is: patient, caring, with enough time to listen the patient needs, ready to help in anything you need from the insurance’s requirements and has a great team working with him. My husband and I really feel safe with him, we don’t have to wait for hours to be attended and he always receive us remembering the problems we had last time we saw him and ask us about our feelings. That means he really care about his patients!

Doctor Baez is so caring! He is one of the few out there!
