Dr. Olumuyiwa Idowu, MD

Great Doctor and very attentive and respectful staff

I have been seeing DR Idowu for some years now; she just gets better. She listens, shows compassion and gives you time to speak your fears and approach your concerns with compassion and impeccable skills. i have been treated of health issues that would have led to the worst-case health scenario. This doctor has been timely to give me much needed treatment n referral so that before l know it, I always bounce back feeling great again. Thank you! DR Idowu. l am very grateful to God for using you to keep me in great health.

Staff is and will always be incredibly rude and condescending at the Sheridan Medical Center. I waited for 45 minutes to see Dr. Idowu- there was only one other person in the waiting room with me. When I am finally called, Dr. Idowu wasn't even there- I was serviced by a nurse practitioner (don't remember her name) and some random lady was there to "observe." I went there for irregular periods. I had gained 5 pounds since the last time that I went to see them- the nurse practitioner was very loud and mocked my weight- saying that I was on the cusp of being overweight and being overweight is what caused my cycle to be irregular (no tests or anything). I was 163 lbs and 5'6. There were no questions asked about my diet (I'm literally vegan). I told her that I wasn't on birth control and she began writing a prescription before I told her that I didn't want to be- I only wanted to figure out what was wrong. I am currently seeking another doctor because this issue was never resolved.
