Dr. Olufunke Abiose, MD

Great doctor, she performed my hysterectomy, she explained the process and the recovery. I was very comfortable with her, she was very compassionate.

Dr Abiose has the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever come in contact with. She has compassion for her patients and takes the time to listen and make sure you feel heard. Would never see anyone else! I have followed her for 10+ years.

Dr. Abiose takes the time to listen and understand my needs. She really cares about her patients. She is very knowledgeable in her field, is compassionate and makes our visits a lot of fun. I love having her as my doctor.

She talks down to you doesnt listen rushes your visit and not knowledgeable in the gynecological field… She comes off nice at first but after that first visit she is very much a narcissist

Dr. Abiose is one of the best female OBGYN that I know. I would always make sure I would have a male OBGYN doctor because I felt they are more sensitive, until I met Dr Abiose. You couldn’t ask for a better OBGYN doctor. Yes, she is a doctor first and a friend second.

I tried calling them because I could not locate them, even with my GPS. No one, NO ONE answered any of the 17 times I called to try and get better directions or to reschedule. They’d better not charge me a fee! What an awful, stressful experience.

Dr. Abiose was my Dr. for both of my pregnancies and she is an amazing Dr. I would recommend her to anyone! She is always friendly and welcoming. She is very informative and makes sure all of my questions are answered. When I was in labor with my 2ed baby I had issues during labor. She was with me every step of the way. I don't know how I would have done it without her. She helped me so much with everything. I will always be so Grateful to her!

Dr. Abiose delivered my daughter in January 2021. She is very competent, compassionate & follows up with her patients till the very end. I am grateful for having Dr. Abiose as my OBGYN & for delivering my baby girl. I thank God I was in good hands. I definitely recommend Dr. Abiose.

The office staff at the Lutz office was very rude. And you know what they say, the doctor is only as good as their front office staff. I will say though that both the doctor and office staff do not seem to be at all accommodating to the patient's needs. It felt like a people mill where you have your 10-minute appointment and if you need 5 more minutes come back next week... oh wait, you have to wait 3 months to book your follow up appointment because everything is full here just as it is everywhere else. I feel very disappointed that I took time off work to drive all the way here to not get adequate outpatient care. I feel even more disappointed by the rudeness of the staff. I know the office staff and doctors are busy, but so are patients. And, patients are confiding in the physician and office staff with very personal details - that put a patient in a vulnerable position. Patients just want someone to listen, show compassion, and not get lost in the system.

I haven't seen Dr. Abiose in quite a few years. I saw her when she worked at Florida Medical Clinic. She is one of the most competent doctors I have ever met. I know because I am a nurse. She is friendly and listens to her patients. She actually involves the patient in their care and choices for the care. Now that I have found her again, I will be going back to her. Just glad she stayed in Florida!

I did not see Dr. Abiose at this facility, but she delivered my daughter in August of 2017. My delivery is one of my fondest memories, and my time in Dr. Abiose's care during my pregnancy was outstanding. My 23 hour labor was preceded by 10 hours of monitoring when my blood pressure spiked at 39 weeks. By the time I was fully dilated, I was mostly without sleep and solid food for over 30 hours. I had a huge mental break down and feared bad outcomes for me and my baby. I didn't want to push! Just about a week ago, a friend in the room informed me that she'd heard the nurses talking about giving me Valium to help calm me enough to start pushing. Dr. Abiose had them hold off, so she could speak to me first. She reminded me of all the hard work I'd done to keep baby and me healthy. She talked me off a ledge of panic and gave me the courage to deliver without drugs to calm me. I was able to remain aware and empowered while birthing my daughter and it is thanks to her belief in me.

I was very pleased with my care with Dr. Abiose. I am an older patient and she made me feel just as important as a young woman. After she checked the problem I was having she knew exactly the medication needed and I am feeling so much better. I found her on line and I am so glad I called and feeling so much better. I absolutely love Dr. Abiosi - she performed surgery on me in 2016 and was so caring and human and just amazing. Planning on seeing her soon!!

She is very knowledgeable, caring, and competent. She takes time to listen.

I would not use Dr. Abiose or anyone in the group. I was a patient for my first pregnancy and I left at 25 weeks. They continued to try to get me to get unnecessary testing for an unrelated health issue instead of focusing on my pregnancy. All about driving up billing and making me high risk. It made the first part of what was supposed to be a fun and exciting time very stressful and anxiety filled. I am now pregnant with my 2nd and am staying with the Women’s Group at TGH and the experience is day and night!!! Never stay with a Dr. you and no happy with no matter how far in the process you are.

Dr. Abiose is the best! She is by far the most welcoming doctor I have ever had. She is knowledgeable in her field and will give honest answers to any question. Thanks to her friendly disposition, I have felt comfortable since my first appointment with her 3 years ago.

Any where and everywhere that I can find a place to leave her a review I am! She is that amazing that I truly feel every woman should know about her. She will treat you like family. She will share in your heart ache as well as your joys. She will take you seriously, and will persue whatever you say is wrong. She won't try and push birth control to fix your problems. After 5 Drs she is the only one to find my diagnosis and litterally give me my life back. Hands down the best Dr in Florida!!

Best Dr. ever hands down. I remember when I was pregnant with my second child and I was seeing her, she always took her time to explain things to me. She made me felt like I was family. I never left her office unclear about anything. I was so mad that she didn’t deliver my daughter lol but she wasn’t on call that night so I had to go with whomever was on call. Yes I will 100% recommended her.
