Does not listen to patients
Had an appointment with Dr. Sevilla in February (2024) Dr. Sevilla came in to the room, sat down and started asking me questions about my recent medical diagnosis’s. Second question in the doctor asked me how my cancer was. I told him, what? He said you have been seeing …… cancer specialists. I told him no that is not true. He then started asking me questions related to the supposed cancer. He would not listen to me regarding the cancer. I told him he has the wrong file. He just kept going. He also wrote info in the file. He then told me that my and my age of 75 height of 5’8 and weight of 230 is my issue. I told him that he has another file. Look at me, I am 6’3” 228lbs and I’m 46. He shot up, went to the door and asked my bday. I told he looked at the file and said are you sure? That’s not what this file says. I told him that he had my dad’s file. I went out the to reception and was provided a copy of my dads latest test results.

Dr and office staff arrogant and condescending. After needing to cancel my first appt. my medical records were destroyed in less than the 30 days they claimed to have kept them. Office staff impatiently told me she had no record of the 2nd release I signed. Dr impatient and arrogant, actually sarcastically laughed while answering a question that apparently I had already asked! Will try to find another pulmonologist. As a patient, I will not be treated discourtesly by incompetent office staff and arrogant doctor who is being paid to treat me. Not important, however waiting room furnished with uncomfortable thrift shop quality chairs from what appears to be the 70’s.

During the time he was in the exam room with me he took three telephone calls and none of them appeared to be medical emergency calls. One was pretty long in duration. I was given an inhaler to use for 14 days but without waiting whether it would help me or if I would have any undesirable side effects, a mail order prescription was placed for a 30 day supply for which I ended up paying $90.

He spends all of his time looking at his computer ignoring the patient. The office policy is totally inflexible. He will not see you if you have a medical problem before your scheduled appointment.
