Dr. Olevia Metry, MD

I initially really liked this dr. She moved across town & I liked her so much I followed her. Had an appt scheduled for March 2025. They called me in February to reschedule as she would not be in the office. Called me again on 3-3 to reschedule my April appt as she would not be in the office again. I had her staff go back to see what could be done. She advised them nothing & told them to send me to another dr. I am on meds that cannot be interrupted. She is an uncaring doctor & person.

I would just say that Dr. Metry is an amazing provider! She takes her time to listen to her patient's necessities and inquiries. Definitely keeping her as long as I can!

Dr. Olevia Metry was a huge disappointment, a terrible Doctor. She lacked professionalism, empathy, compassion, and understanding. Not only was she dismissive, but she was giving the impression that she didn’t have time for me and there was also a clear disregard for the importance of patients' time. She doesn't care about your health concerns, which made the experience very frustrating. I have serious health concerns I need help with, but I am now forced to find a new doctor and wait who knows how long for an appt. I had originally planned to recommend her to family and friends who recently moved to the area, but there’s absolutely no way I’d subject my loved ones to such an experience. If you’re dealing with serious health concerns, Dr. Metry is NOT the right doctor for you. My time with her was completely wasted. I am writing this to share my experience and sincerely hope that this feedback helps future patients not encounter the same disillusioning treatment.

Yesterday was my second time being seen by Dr. Metry. She is a wonderful addition to TGMG in New Tampa! She heard my concerns & was thorough with her explanations and what I needed to do on my end. I have switched her to my PCP.

She is very knowledgeable, relates to her patients, and is approachable/interested in the patient's problems/care.

I went to Dr. Metry as a first step for treating frequent panic attacks that have been occurring to me for a few years now. Unfortunately, I had one during my appointment.Dr. Metry and her staff were extremely accommodating and made me feel very comfortable and safe during a very uncomfortable time for myself.Leon,If you see these reviews, I want to thank you for your understanding and confirmation that you knew what was happening, and that it was okay. I don't think I've ever left a review for anything in my life, but I wanted to write this even if there was a chance you would see it.This was my first visit with Dr. Metry and I will continue to consult her in the future for all of my primary health care needs.

Dr. Merry is my new Primary Care Provider...easy to engage and allows for any and all questions. Outstanding so far.

She was not my PC doctor but when I had this rash my PCA recommended Dr. Metry to me. I fell in love with her ! So much so that I am now going to make her my PC doctor as she is much closer to where I live.

Dr. Metry is extremely perceptive, highly intuitive and exceptionally skilled as a physician. Her diagnostic abilities improved my health issues which were rather ignored by other doctors for months. She takes her time and actually listens to the patient. She empathizes and is very solution oriented. In these unprecedented times, having a primary care physician of her calibre is nothing short of a true blessing.

Definitely recommend Dr Metry, she takes time to listen and puts you at ease.

She is the best doctor I have ever had. She is like have an angel take care of you. I am so sad she is going to Tampa. I will really miss her. Lorraine Jensen
