Consider your options before choosing Okoli
My last visit, I waited over an hour after my appointment time to see Dr. Okoli (previous visit, almost an hour). He is so rushed, he did not tell me about lab result that was out of range, I had to call later to ask the significance of that result. Most of the time I was there was spent with a student rather than with Dr. Okoli. He lied to me and blamed the NM State Governor for requiring one set of labs. I verified through NM DOH that what he said was not true. I canceled my upcoming appointment almost three weeks in advance to go back to my regular doctor in TX. 7 months later he charged my credit card, without my permission and without notifying me, for that visit I canceled in advance. Consider options before choosing this Dr.

They are the best
Dr. Okoli is phenomenal and his bedside manner and personality is off the charts OUTSTANDING! His staff is great, professional, courteous and friendly They truly care about their patients, they have shown me this time after time. They stay well booked but have squeezed me in a few times for urgent needs when other Doctors usually would not have. I absolutely LOVE them. I give them a well DESERVED 5 stars.

Awful with very long waits and missing lab results
Awful. Note you will always typically be seen up to 2 hours AFTER your appointment time so you will sit around and wait for that whole time (and then causing you to be late for any other appointments you have that day) and then when you do see him the staff does not have the proper lab results to review so you will spend most of your visit chasing those down. This practice needs basic competence and time management and for staff to get lab results properly in order so just go to El Paso instead! Thanks.

On My initial visit I thought Dr. Okoli seemed knowledgeable and personable but the staff was very disorganized. I was told to come back in 30 days. The woman at the front desk made an appointment and gave me an appointment card. When I returned they acted as if I had no appointment. Not normally a big deal but after I showed her the appointment card she became somewhat surly. Eventually they said they could squeeze me in. I waited for more than an hour. When I was finally called back I waited for another 10 minutes before a medical student came in to ask why I was there. Eventually The Dr. arrives he barely acknowledged me and relied on the medical student to completely misconstrue my medical history and answers to the previous questions. It was if she was reading from someone else's chart. When I interjected and attested to figure out what was happening My questions were brushed aside. This is an ID doc that didn't seem to have Telemedicine during a Pandemic. Go to El Paso.

Excellent. I had diverticulitis and no one at Mountain View knew what the problem was; I was on the verge of being septic. Don't know how Dr. O was summoned but saw him my 2nd day in the hospital. After a short review he left and the proper treatment began under his supervision. I was discharged in 6 days and have had no recurrence. Well done, Dr. O.
