Not the “best”
My family member has been a patient for 4 years. Her lack of motivation and concern is appalling and so discouraging. She truly does not care about this patient and this has caused so much brain damage to the patient. She claims to care about the quality of life but her lack of push to help the patient says otherwise. Happy for the patients that actually received adequate care from her but in our case that is completely different and appalling. You should give each patient the same kind of compassion as a doctor. We shouldn’t have to constantly call for the same refill and you and your office ignores it every time a refill comes due. I fully believe if we would have pushed to go to a different doctor even though she came highly referred this patient would be in a lot better place all around. Also she would lie in the patients notes about her being alert and attentive in the visits. When she was clearly out of it and falling asleep!!!!

Dr. Baki is an amazing Neurologist. For the past 6 years I’d been a patient of a different neurologist who had diagnosed me with “temporal lobe epilepsy”. I’ve spent the last 6 years with him, having 2 EEG’s per year and several different meds prescribed by him. I hadn’t had any seizures since the initial one that he diagnosed but he continued with the EEG’s and meds. During each EEG follow-up he would say the same thing. He would say that things look better but there’s still some abnormal activity and would recommend another EEG FOR 6 months later. Finally, I decided to get a second opinion from a different neurologist. That’s when I met Dr. Nour Baki. She listened as I addressed my concerns and was able to go into my online chart to check my history. She explained to me that the EEG’s I’d been having are what’s called 8 channel and time was for about 25 minutes. She ordered a much more in-depth 32 channel, 3 hour EEG. My follow up appointment with Dr. Baki was amazing! She told me my EEG showed no evidence of epilepsy and is normal. She had me stop the meds the previous doctor had me on and I’ve been fine ever since! I highly recommend Dr. Baki to anyone who seeks a neurologist who is exceptional and has her patient’s best interest at heart. I’m so happy that I chose her to get a much overdue second opinion!
