Appreciation for Dr Freidman, CNP Melissa & staff
Jan9, 2023 I took my husband to his appointment to see CNP Melissa. She asked questions and I had a few as well which she answered! She took the time to explain and answer. She did a great job as well as the rest of the staff! Did not see Dr Freidman this time, but he is a compassionate, kind hearted doctor. A hearty thank you to all of you at Akron Neurology for what you do! Folks remember this is a busy place and must be appreciated!!

Horrible Doctor and staff
I have never been satisfied with Dr. Friedman but his NP, Karen was good & I did not mind seeing her but with the way I have been treated in the past several months by the office manager has been appalling and I never will select another NOMS provider for anything.

Omg I just read you offer teleconference. Why was that not offered when I was calling in with a migraine flare up and could have spoken to the doctor and gotten my school excuse. Wow. You really don't assist your patients in that office!!! Bare minimum

Curious if this is posted: Jan 2021. Dr Friedman and PA-C not accessible. They return patient calls from a blocked line. Other med professionals cannot contact Friedman. Office manager quit. No doctor’s in office at time of my phone call. I set up my own referrals. Friedman will not release my records to a new neurologist. Friedman denies getting a request to do so. Friedman’s medical orders are unjustified and not discussed with the patient. Questionable ethics

My sister has had terrible pain in her leg and can hardly walk. Dr. had good reviews and seemed competent when I spoke with him. HOWEVER When it came to the all important follow-up we were scheduled with a nurse practitioner. I am almost 80 and have never been treated in such a disrespectful, downgrading manner - not expected from a professional you pay for help. No helpful info. resulted from this meeting. Waste of money. Scheduled to get MRI and bring disc to Dr. No one looked at the disc. Why did we - and my insurance, pay for something like that if know one cared? Yes, the Dr. had a good manner, and we liked him, however that does not excuse the lack of a diagnosis, or possible treatment or why we ended up with the unprofessional nurse. Or, why the nurse continued to discuss my sister’s arm when problem was her leg. I tried to contact this Dr. 3 times with no response. My answers below refer to this nurse. Warning. If you go to this Dr. establish who will do the follw-up.
