Dr. Norbert Engelman, DO

BUYER BEWARE: We changed our Medicare Advantage HMO plan for 2024, before we did we made sure that my wife's and my specialists were in-network. Our primary care Dr. was not on the new program so we had to change and selected Dr. Engelman. Much to our surprise he would not work with our specialists despite the fact that they are in-network. His office manager indicated that he has his own "trusted" specialists where we must go. We had our own "trusted" specialists and we would not make that compromise based on whatever motivation Dr. Endelman has. Needless to say that we contacted our plan manager to cancel our selection and we found a primary care who supports continuation of care.

My last doctor moved out of the area so I had to find a new one. I lucked out and found a better doctor, Dr. Engelmann. I really like him. He's very helpful and personable, which is kind of rare these days.

I want Dr.to know how grateful I am for having him treat me for years. My sugar is finally as low as it is because of him. I keep it at 6.7 level and I do owe it to him . Miss you. Thanks for years with you getting me there.

My mom was his patient for many, many years so I got to know him. I was so pleased when I was able to become his patient. He takes his time with each patient. My only complaint is with the office staff. I understand referrals are sent to a review staff but it takes constant follow up for referrals.

I have seen him three times at All Care Medical and he always takes his time to answer my questions and listens to my concerns. It is hard to find a dr who takes the time to listen. I think he is a great primary care physician. The office staff is ok they seem to change staff alot but they are friendly and always get me seen when needed.

Wow! So happy I found you! I was a patient of Dr Engleman at his previous practice and was so heartbroken to find out he was gone and no one could tell me where he was. My in insurance ( Humana :Medicare) isn’t in this plan but my husband can see him as they accept his insurance. So hopefully I’ll be able to see him next enrollment. Dr Engleman was my primary for 20 years and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He professional down to earth and a real person that you can tell anything to. He’s honestly the best of the best.

I chose Dr. Engelman through Optimum Health. When I called for a new patient appointment his office took THREE WEEKS to finally call me back even though I called them once a week for an appointment. When I finally did reach them, I asked about a referral to my nephrologist who is available in my plans network. His office manager told me that I would have to use the Nephrologist THEY were comfortable working with. Wait a minute, I'm the patient and I had to use the doctor a doctor they chose, not the one I was entitled to see through my plans network. I found them condescending and had no skills in follow up and follow through. I would not recommend this office to anyone!

Great staff, I found dr.norbert to be personable and extremely knowledgeable and took his time and explained everything in detail.

Have really felt at ease with Dr. Engelman an would recommend him but I found out today he has moved to another location. Hope he contacts his patients.

Dr. Engleman has been my doctor for almost 20yrs. I have never had a more caring,comforting,compassionate, doctor in my life. He has helped me through some very rough times,He goes above and beyond human kindness. Thank you Dr. Engleman for your kindness.
