Dr. Sood stands out in so many ways it’s hard to name just one. I was suffering badly from AFib. Sleep was impossible for me. Dr. Sood gave me expert advice, saw me twice at a convenient location. I was barely able to get dressed, let alone walk. My heart rate was off the charts!He recommended an ablation by his colleague. I got the ablation and afterwards, when he visited me in the hospital, we even had a few laughs. Now I am able to live my best life because he cared enough to take time to recommend Dr. Arnoldas Diegrimas at Charlton Hospital for the ablation. Dr. Sood performed a successful heart ablation 6 months ago to resolve atrial tachycardia (rapid heartbeat) potentially due to my hereditary hemochromatosis issues relevant to cardiac nerve deterioration. The results over the past 6 months since the ablation procedure have been 100% satisfactory with no detectable recurrences of tachycardia. He has been thoroughly straightforward, informative, and educational regarding this issue. And has, at this juncture, apparently resolved a potentially serious heart issue which may not likely recur again after this 6 month post surgery interval. His 'bedside manner' is exemplary, and his explanations regarding the cause, resolution and required ablation procedure were comprehensive and understandably straightforward regarding the issue. We found him approachable, and would highly recommend him, his superb support staff, and Charlton Hospital's wonderful nursing staff for expert treatment and care of electro-cardiac and other issues.

Dr Sood treated me with the aftmost respect and humanity with the care I received for AFib. Everything he explained to me from day one was how my process went. He helped me be patient with the process and I'm glad as it helped me recover from A-Fib and now I'm back to normal. Would give him 10 stars if possible!

Dr Sood sat with my wife and I for a six months check up and he was beyond personable and professional taking time to go over very thing and explain throughly every question even went over medications concerned with the cost and the took the time to pare my Apple Watch to monitor my sinus rhythm we were beyond pleased and would recommend DR Sood to anyone that needs expert professional care.Peter crowley

In August, Dr. Sood performed a cryoablation to correct my paroxysmal Afib. Leading up to this procedure, my apple watch was recording my episodes of Afib and reporting an Afib weekly burden close to 50%. I also had a very low heart rate. During the procedure, Dr. Sood and team were able to correct both issues, resulting in no episodes in the ensuing months. Dr. Sood is a doctor that cares and it shows. He gave me options as to what needed to be done and explained what it entailed. He fixed my heart to where I now feel l can run a marathon! When I first met Dr. Sood I was in sad shape, out of energy and breath with A-fib. I am very glad I put my trust in Dr. Sood.

Dr. Sood performed a cryoblation procedure for my atrial fibrillation. My a-fib has not returned since. He also purposely increased my heart rate which reduces cardiac risk and gives me more strength. I couldn’t be happier with his care.

I developed AFib in December 2021. Through the excellent teams at South Coast Health, my condition was diagnosed quickly . I had all the tests done and at the beginning of October, Dr. Sood preformed an ablation that cured my Afib. So within 10 months of developing Abfib I was cured! It was a miracle.

Its clear immediately that Dr. Sood has a big brain. He draws detailed heart diagrams upside down, and he's a spectacular scholar with several published papers and trials. (google him) But as you spend time with him, you are aware of his big, rhythmically beating heart. He listens and hears your concerns, he's there for the follow up with all the time you need. Dr. Sood performed my ablation for atrial fibrillation, which was very successful. I was very pleased with his competence and management of my case, which had some complications with rhythm control prior to the procedure. He was very discerning, thoughtful and caring with regard to what was best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Sood.

I was troubled by Afib (without heart defect) for many, many years. Perhaps over 20! I was on blood pressure reducers, rhythm stabilizers, blood thinners, and anti-anxiety medications. With all the side effects. Afib interfered with all aspects of my life and the stress of it made things worse. I am so happy to have met Dr Sood. He evaluated, qualified, and performed a cardiac ablation (laser and cryogenic) for me early in 2019. His bedside manner and talents are quite wonderful. Since the procedure, I have been Afib free. It is truly amazing. In situations where I once feared a cardiac event, I experience nothing - everything is normal. I don't have to leave on a stretcher any more. Wonderful. Excellent care. He’s always on top of his profession. I had two ablation 2 cardioversions and getting another next week. He has explained to me my condition in detail and let’s me know when there are any changes and commits to getting that situation taken care of.
