Dr. Kumar is fabulous! She is very knowledgeable and an expert in her field. She provides compassionate healthcare. She also has a great sense of humor!

their billing is quite bad and they charged me random amount as new patient charges which were not supposed to be charged.

I was a patient of Dr Kumar when she practiced in Vernon CT. After my 1st visit I had my husband call to cancel my next appointment. I was in the hospital with heart attack. Shortly after he received a call saying no to the cancelation. She wanted to see me immediately after I got home. Because my list of ailments was so long she scheduled double appointments to cover everything. When she told me she was leaving we both started to cry. She is a thorough and wonderful doctor and person. I now have another wonderful doctor but I miss Dr Kumar.

Dr. Kumar is my General Practitioner. She is a very caring individual and she is extremely knowledgeable. I have never been cared for so well by a physician. She regularly keeps up on my medical care and makes sure that I get all of my necessary exams. I just moved out of state and I am still going to keep her as my regular doctor until I can find someone in my new state. She is the best physician that you will ever have. She takes my overall health very seriously and she gently reminds me to actually take care of myself. I didn't realize that I needed the kind of care that she provides. It will be hard to replace her.

6 stars. Nishi Kumar, MD recently moved to Texas, so is available. Get established as a patient before she gets too popular! My family each received a hand-written thank-you note after our first visit. Hands down, the best PCP I can remember. High marks for being widely knowledgeable - many medical fields - and caring. Looks at the whole person, doesn't just swat at symptoms. Spends lots of time. I also appreciate that she can balance being a partner with a patient while maintaining authority.

Dr Kumar has been my general practitioner in Vernon, CT for many years and I have to say that I couldn't imagine having a more caring and thorough doctor. Although my health concerns are few, she always takes the time to ask many questions to be sure that all potential issues are covered.

With the pressure on doctors today to efficiently manage a large case load it's seldom that we see a physician who cares for patients as though they were family members. Meet Dr. Nishi Kumar. She is a dedicated and immensely qualified primary care physician who accompanies you every step on your road to good health. Don't be surprised if she's following up with you after supper or on her day off. You could not have picked a better physician.

Had two cancelled appointments cause I was going through a divorce, so when I finally need a appointment for having chest pains, they schedule me, only to cancel me because I had to cancels from 2013. Ridiculous!!!!
