He recently admitted my mother to a psych ward after she suffered her third stroke. My mother isn’t psychotic. She was confused and lonely. Not having visitors in the nursing home scared her, and she was terrified. Instead of contacting me (medical guardian) about the discharge to the psych ward, he simply did it and had the nurses call me afterwards. Before this, I sang his praises. Now, I advise all to steer clear of this hospitalist that works at both Greenview and The Medical Center. Make sure you know which doctor is giving you care. I am shocked and appalled at what has happened, and my mother’s health has declined, dramatically.

Dr. Sheth assisted in the final days of my father’s battle with Alzheimer’s. He was ver compassionate with care & answering questions during this most difficult time.

Our loved one is a patient of his. He is negligent and passive with elderly patients. We last saw Dr Sheth while addressing some depression issues we saw our loved one exhibiting and his response was to prescribe a sleeping pill and take them off of the water pill and blood thinner they were on. Because our loved one has Congestive heart failure, within two days we were in the hospital ER where we learned our loved one had a heart attack. They suspect the lack of the heart medication was the cause. His office staff is also very hard to reach and you must always leave a message. He does not work on Friday's either. I do NOT recommend this dr to anyone. This is only the most recent issue. There have been many in the past as well. We are currently seeking a new Doctor for our loved one. He seems to have no empathy for very elderly patients. The feeling we get is he doesn’t see much longevity in our loved one so he’s not as invested in their well being and quality of life.

Works only 4 days a week. Secretary/receptionist rarely answers the phone so you have to leave a message in voice mail. They you have to wait and wait for her to get back with you, which may take hours. On occasion I felt rushed and didn't get all my questions asked.
