Went well
Dr Sharma took his time explaining the characteristics of A-fib and what procedures we can take. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Arrogance towards patients
Made an appointment 30-days out and took the first one they had available, which was on a Friday @ 4:00. I prefer early morning, but it was all they had. On the day of the appointment @ 9:00am, I received a call from Dr. Sharma's staff alerting me to the need to change the appointment to either a time earlier in the day, or another day the next week. She said the Dr. wanted to leave town by 2 PM, but that I had a selection of appointed times starting at 11AM to choose from."I hate to sit and wait beyond my appointed time, what do you suggest?" She said 11AM, and that I had nothing to be concerned about. I had already completed my on-line paperwork and was there before 11AM. After 11:20 I walked up to the employees at the reception desk and let them know that I had arrived promptly before 11AM because I respect the Dr's time, but that I was now cancelling my appointment and leaving. I would not be seeking treatment. The Dr. could start his wk-end early.

Your abnormal test results "LOOK GREAT"
I am severely debilitated with episodes of collapsing with chest pain and problems on the right side of my body. My test results show an extremely rare coronary artery anomaly which carries a risk of sudden death. Turns out my right coronary artery has an origin from the left side of my heart. But Dr. Sharma came in the room all smiles and told me my abnormal test results "LOOK GREAT"! He said it's nothing to be concerned about and is just something that is "good to know" in case I ever need a cath. He didn't accurately explain the anatomy as it was described by the radiologist on the report. He told me he does not think the anomaly could be causing any of my symptoms. There have been only 30 something cases of this particular CAA ever reported so not much is really known about what this causes or how to treat it. But Dr. Sharma already knows it's not causing my symptoms! Common sense tells me with my symptoms being what they are, I am most likely going to die from this.

Dr Sharma is an Amazing Dr!
Dr Sharma is Amazing, caring, knowledgeable and wonderful Doctor. Recently I was introduced to Dr Sharma as a consult for a pacemaker I found out I needed. He has a very calming attitude and took the time to prepare me for the operation and then perform the operation. He laid out the pros and the cons without drama. He was actually in the room when I did my stress test watching the results live. The decision to perform the operation was made with intellect and professionalism with my cardiologist. He met with me before the operation with again a calm and confident attitude that all would be well..and it was. He took the time to call my wife after the operation with the results. My pacemaker is working properly and my follow up appointment was again a calming encounter answering all my questions with patience. I have never felt rushed or stupid dealing with him and his wonderful caring staff. Both my Heart and my Life are now better because of Dr Sharma!

Dr. Sharma is the best! He took my polyneuropathy, which was confirmed by a nerve punch biopsy from my neurologist, very seriously. I appreciate his open mindedness, as some other doctors did not take me seriously. Other doctors made me feel like I was crazy. But Dr. Sharma understood that nerve signals effect everything.

After being told by a previous doctor that I was not a candidate for cardiac ablation, I sought Doctor Niraj Sharma’s opinion. He reviewed my situation & informed me that I was a candidate. Since Dr. Sharma did the cardiac ablation almost two years ago, I no longer have a irregular & often rapid heart beat. My energy level has improved since the procedure & it has given me peace of mind that I am no longer in A-fib. My quality of life has greatly improved. I no longer live in fear of a stroke or a heart attack. He said my heart “sounded like a Rolex, not a Timex”. Now I no longer take a blood thinner. Fortunately, Dr. Sharma did not allow another doctor’s opinion to deter him from doing a procedure that he knew would help correct my irregular heart rhythm. He explained my situation in terms that were easy for me to understand. I feel blessed to be under the care of such a caring & gifted doctor.
