Dr. Nir Somekh, MD

I went to Dr. Somekh because my GP's treadmill was broken. He did a thorough exam and heard something that was a bit fishy. I subsequently had an MRI and a stress test. So three visits in all. I never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. Dr. Somekh and his staff were patient, friendly, and answered all my questions. The whole thing was just great. I heartily recommend his office. On a side note: Anyone who just has his or her GP do the heart exam, well, rethink it. The level of the examination is completely different than what a GP can offer--even if the GP does a good job.

I've been seeing Dr. Somekh for about 6 1/2 years. He is brilliant, thorough and very sensitive to his patients needs as they age. He has discussed all relevant aspects of my situation whenever I visit the office or on the phone. His vast knowledge allows him to relate what is happening to me with other medical issues. I consider myself fortunate to have found him.

I highly recommend Dr. Somekh. He is trustworthy, compassionate and has a tremendous knowledge in his field of expertise. His office staffs are phenomenal and scheduling appointments are very easy.

Dr. Somekh is very compassionate and cares about his patients. He is always available and returns calls and answers questions. He follows up and provides a feeling of comfort and confidance.

Had my first visit today with Dr. Somekh and I have never experienced a doctor who was so thorough, and so warm and so caring. He took so much time with me to learn my history and to listen to my concerns and to explain many aspects of the heart and how my heart is affected by so many variables. I made some upcoming apps to schedule some tests and feel like I'm in very good hands! I have never written a review before, this just shows how impressed I was with Dr. Somekh!

I have been a patient of Dr. Somekh's partner (Dr Pascaru) for many years. I cannot say enough about Dr Pascaru, she is one of the most careful and thoughtful physicians you could ever find. I recently saw Dr Somekh for a stress-echo, and my wife just completed a number of tests to follow up on a minor abnormality. I must say, Dr Somekh was able to quickly determine what the issue was, and to reassure my wife it was not serious. He has a wonderful personality that makes you feel that he cares

Dr.Somekh had me come in for an echocardiagram based on my symptoms. He felt that a stress test was in order.He explained the purpose and monitored the test him self.

Had my first appointment with dr Somekh and loved his manner showing how he cares for patients. The next trip there was with Christine for tests. Loved her also. Sent catscans to dr somekh and he reviewed and assured me everything is ok. What a relief thanks Dr Somekh. Dr. Somekh is an amazing doctor with a beautiful bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

Wouldn't want to trust my heart and my health to anyone but Dr. Somekh. It was his persistence in addressing my hypertension and his refusal to quit until my rates were well with normal limits that I admire. The practice is very pro-patient and staff gives attention to the needs of their patients. Doctor Somekh is available and accessible. He has a sense of humor that I appreciate and that adds to his professionalism.

Dr. Somekh is a caring and responsive physician. When I had need of an urgent appointment, I was given one immediately. The appointments were never rushed as he spent a great deal of time with me. He even went so far as to call me while he was on vacation. I would highly recommend Dr. Somekh to anyone requiring a competent and involved physician.

Dr. Nir Somekh is a truly amazing doctor. He is the kind of doctor that one dreams of caring for them or their loved ones. It is a rare thing to find the kind of physician who maintains continuity and dedication to care for his patients in the way Dr. Somekh does. He cares for my aging grandparents, and I have been impressed by his excellent bedside manner, availability to see them both in the office and in the hospital and sound clinical judgement.

My visit with Dr. Somekh was great he was very professional and very kind . I would recommend anyone to him very excellent doctor.

Finally found the right Dr. After several visits with other Cardiologists i found the right one. Dr Somekh was very thorough and immediately was able to diagnose my problem. I felt that he was very caring and both professionally and personally was very pleased with my visit.

I was in the emergency room of St.Francis Hospital Dr. Somekh was the Dr. on call. I called his office for an appointment & to my surprise after talking to his receptionist Dr. Somekh got on the phone. Dr. Somekh went over & above taking care of me, I was a very complicated patient, he always called me back and spoke to me personally even on a weekend, once on a Saturday we got disconnected 5 times & he kept calling me back!

Dr. Somekh is the epitome of professionalism. He is kind, gentle, softspoken, and has a wonderful way of putting you at ease. He takes the time to really listen to what you have to say and ask. His ability to diagnose and treat is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Somekh.
