Horrible situation turned amazing
After suffering through a migraine for two days, I came to the ER at Swedish to aee if there was anything that could be done.After some time in the ER, the attending physicians decided that being admitted would probably be the best idea as they discovered I had viral meningitis. This made me horribly anxious and incredibly worried due to possible outcomes.The next morning, Dr. Patel came to visit me in my room and put my mind at ease. Her professionalism and genuine care for her patients our part of the reason I believe I recovered. Dr. Patel had no issue whatsoever sitting with me in the room and letting me drill her with questions until I was comfortable with the diagnosis.Thank you for the professionalism and all you did for me. It truly is appreciated.

Dr. Nina Patel is a very talented diagnostician and one of the most compassionate and competent doctors I have ever met. She breaks the mold for modern patient care in that she invests the time to listen and respond to patient needs. There is not a better doctor on the North Shore of Chicago.
