Horrible experience
The doctor did not listen or take serious my medical conditions. He made me seem like and feel like a drug seeker. He also purposely lied to my moms face about a diagnosis that he said. He has horrible bedside manner.

I was seen in the hospital by Dr. Patel. He put a drain is me because I had fluid on my left side. The hospital sent me home with no supplies. The Home Health nurse and myself tried and tried to contact his office and no one would call us back. He had to put in a request for the supplies. Finally the Home Health nurse found someone to order them. Dr. Patel's office never did call us back. All the fluid drained off and nothing more was coming out. Then the drain started coming out by it self. When the Home Health nurse saw that she finally got someone to answer the phone and told them I had to be seen. Well I went and a PA or and NP took the drain out and I never did see Dr. Patel. I would not recommend him to no one.

Dr. Patel spent time with me and explained in detail and visually showed me my condition. Was very patient in answering my multiple questions. Thought he was very friendly, upbeat, and engaging. I am confident to have him as my specialist and would recommend him to others.

Pathetic doctor with no compassion whatsoever for an elderly patient or the patient's family in ICU. His ego supersedes care, humility and compassion. To say he is arrogant is an understatement. It comes as no surprise his ratings here are so low. His behavior as a critical care physician in ICU is deplorable.
