He always listens to my concerns and answers my questions in a way that I can understand. He is very personable and always has a smile on his face. I also like that I don't have to wait long to see him and his nurses and MAs are nice.

Dr DESAI has been my thyroid doctor for over 8 yrs now, and he still takes excellent care of my health.

List visit was just a checkup and meds adjustment but very friendly and thorough. Dr. Desai is an expert endo. He is detailed and very knowledgable. He found my cancer in 2019 when another endo missed it. He listens and is concerned. Top notch.

Dr Desai is very thorough and knowledgeable. He seems to be very concerned about his patients and takes up time to discuss your health. His nurse, Brittany, is very nice and helpful also. If you need an endocrinologist, I would highly recommend a visit with Dr Desai.

Dr. Desai listened to me as a patient and was willing to work to find the best type of medication for my condition. In addition, on one occasion I was able to have a telehealth visit that kept me from having to reschedule my routine appointment.

Dr. Desai approaches you with compassion. He shows you a model so you can visualize what was found. Gives you understanding.

Dr.Desai saw me within 5 mins of the nurse leaving the room after she completed checking my vitals. He asked me a couple of questions,did some hands on checks.then explained that I would need an additional test done at my next bloodwork appointment.

Dr. Desai and all the staff there were very nice. The waiting room was virtually empty, as opposed to overcrowded like at my previous endocrinologist's office. The doctor seemed to be well aware of the latest insulin pump technologies and other diabetes products too. I was treated with respect, and when I was having trouble remembering how to make the suggested adjustment on my pump, he offered to do it for me! In my past (in another state), I was made to feel bad for not remembering something about my pump settings. It made me dread going to the quarterly visits. But Dr. D makes me happy to go back to make sure that my insulin therapy is optimally adjusted. After just one visit, I am happy to drive farther to see this doctor. I believe he is, and will be, worth it.

Dr. Desai is a great doctor who cares about his patients. He takes time to explain things and answer questions. There is never a long wait. His staff is very friendly.

What stands out from my visit was that he spoke too fast and wasn't clear about my numbers from my labs. He accusingly asked me why I wasn't taking a medication, I told him my drugstore said they couldn't get it from the manufacturer. He said nothing and left the room to get a sample of a new medication. When recommending me to a nephrologist...prudent... I expressed my concern about having to take more time off work for another expensive doctor. His glib response was to say, 'It's cheaper than a new kidney.' I'm looking for another endocrinologist. His NP however was WONDERFUL and I'll miss her!

Exceptionally few physicians have anything close to the ideal combination of real skills above. Doctor Nilay Desai has ALL of these in abundance, and as such is a One-In-A-Million Practitioner!!! Knowledge with common sense, genuine care for patiets, meticulous caution for their absolute safety, true responive attention to each patient's emotional & psychological sense of safety, privacy, and full basic explanation of what steps are necessary to maintain and improve health are keys to Dr. Desai's care. Anything less is insufficient and unacceptable, but all too common from other doctors.

Dr Desai is wonderful. He takes time to explain things, answer any questions & has a great personality. He's the BEST!
