Dr. Nikole Ostrov, MD

I'm not sure if the previous review is for the same doctor, but Dr. Ostrov is exceptional. She is kind, attentive, and takes the time to understand all my concerns. Her bedside manner is superb—I could not ask for a better doctor.

very pushy, condescending

Told me I 'You should have seen a fertility specialist YESTERDAY' Repeated it for emphasis. Rude. Did not proceed to even offer a referral for one, just rushed through generic info. During an earlier appointment, she also weirdly asked me why I wasn't dating anyone and preceded to tell me how her friends met nice men online. So weird, so unprofessional. At first seems friendly, but don't be fooled, it's unprofessional.

Dismissive, arrogant, and pushy. It was very easy to get an appointment and no other patient was in the office - now I can see why. She refused to call with results and had me wait a week for a telehealth when she had the results the same day I saw her (saw that after obtaining copy of report) knowing how nervous I was. I was unable to get an appointment with the doctor I usually see at another facility and have never had that experience before. It’s so hard to find good doctors but she did not seem very knowledgeable and just kept pushing for PT with the person in her office ignoring the fact that I already have a PT. Definitely about money and billing. Don’t waste your time.

Incompetent, dismissive, and rude. I had a positive experience with this doctor at the initial visit as she seemed genuine and friendly and it was a smooth visit as everything was normal. However, when I had complaints about a condition later, she was unable to help figure out what it was; instead of saying she did not know or requesting a consult, she constantly interrupted me at the follow-up and concluded it was normal before I had a chance to ask follow-up questions and provide additional information. When I asked questions, she rushed me out of the office, stating “I was only scheduled to see you for 15 minutes.” In addition, when I told her I chose a genetic testing lab that was not the one she recommended due to insurance reasons, she was impatient and refused to answer questions about the process/referral. Very disappointed by the incompetence and bedside manners of this person. I would be very reluctant to call her a professional.
