Dr Machado is very caring. Her presence is very disarming of the fear of the unknown during a doctor's visit. She xplained the diagnosis well, the steps that needs to be taken to remedy the root of the problem. She is a good listener. Makes the patient feel seen and heard. Explains all the medical terms in layman language making it digestible by the patient. Her knowledge in her field is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. When I was referred to her I was sick, but was so scared about the thought of surgery. She took her time and explained what the root cause of my illness was. Explained the body anatomy and how it's interrelated in its function. Showed me the diagram of my parsthyroid it's function and also what was causing the disfunction. By the time she was done I was relieved and it helped alot in my decision making for surgery. I was able to make an informed decision about the next medical step. Dr. Machado was amazing as was the entire team of doctors and nurses. They facilitated were so clean and the waiting room was nice a spread out for loved ones to wait comfortably. I'm so glad I chose this facility.
