Today I visited Dr.Corbett with my teenage daughter and let me just tell you she was the rudest person I probably have ever met. She didn’t listen to any of my concerns about my daughters pain and basically told me if I don’t like her opinion go somewhere else. Gets better acting like a child she storms out of the room, shuts the door, and begins talking about my daughter and myself to her staff loud enough where other patients could hear her. Only thing I received from this doctor is my daughter is overweight and that’s why her ankle hurts, the same ankle that she injured in May from falling off a porch. So whoever responds to her reviews, know this I hope no one ever speaks to her children the way she spoke to me. Also let her know to be so rude about someone weight when she is no small lady herself. I hope if you worked with her today that you do the right thing and report her actions also. Staff was wonderful but Dr.Corbett was not very rude and talk down to me.

She was rude, condescending, and examined the wrong foot. She had no care for anything. We were a waste of her time. Would never recommend her. She is a horrible excuse for a human being

I went to Dr Corbett to discuss pain from a severe bunion & the hammertoe next to it. She said that surgery would be more complicated than usual, since she would have to cut into the bones in the middle of my foot. After preparing to be off work for 8-9 weeks, I went ahead with the surgery, which went well. My concern began when the soft cast came off. I asked Dr. Corbett if the hammertoe was going to straighten and she said, 'You didn't tell me to do it, but we could have if you had told me. We can just do another quick surgery & the recovery time won't be as long.' Six months post-op, I was concerned that the toe was drifting already but was told that she figured that would happen. Now 18 months post-op, the toe has drifted farther than it was to begin with, crowding the other toes in addition to pain in the ball of my foot. So now I have more pain than I started with. I feel that since I had good insurance she wanted to drag things out with multiple procedures and appointments.

Dr.Corbett will refuse to even meet you or see you if you show up for an appointment with her if she finds out you have a physical disability. She instructs her staff to inform you that you have to come another time with an interpreter or other adult before she will see you.

I have seen several Orthopedic Surgeons but I have to say Dr. Corbett is one of the best. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and does her best to address them. She is straightforward and seems to genuinely care. I look forward to having Dr. Corbett and her nursing staff taking care of me through my upcoming surgery and recovery process.

I broke both feet , but shattered my right ankle and tib fib back in November of 2017 falling 14 feet from the attic. I had an external fixator applied by the hospital orthopedic surgeon who referred me to Dr Corbett for further surgery. She did the orif surgery repairing my ankle and tib/fib with a plate, 13 screws and a special cement. She is knowledgeable, caring and has been awesome throughout my experience. I highly recommend her.

When I went to the ER following my foot injury right before Christmas, Dr Corbett was recommended by the orthopedist on call. Although she was on vacation, she came back into the office early so that I could be seen. Her expertise was obvious. The foot required surgery and everything went great without any complications. Her follow-up care has also been excellent. I have every confidence in her. In addition, Dr Corbett has a delightful, personable and upbeat personality.

Unprofessional with a superiority complex, retaliatory, unconcerned, not knowledgeable, don't care, mismanaged/falsified medical records. I would not recommend Dr. Corbett to anyone she is a poorly qualified doctor and should be ashamed to say that she attended Tulane University as she does not have the attributes to be any type of doctor or provide public service to anyone.

Dr. Corbett is a fantastic surgeon/doctor. She has great patient/people skills and talks to you so you can understand what is going on. I would recommend her to anyone that had a need for her expertise. She has been reassuring with my Achilles injury . Even during my recovery and she broke her wrist and when I was in for my appointments seeing her associate Dr. Ben she would be on the phone checking on me. My best wishes to a great person and doctor. Louise Brady

I was referred to Dr Corbett by another orthopedic Dr as I required ankle surgery for a shattered ankle; This is her specialty area. My surgery went well , and I’m on my way to recovery. I’ve been able to ask any questions or concerns through Oshner’s messaging system and have gotten timely responses.

My mother fell out of bed and shattered her femur above her knee. Terrible break for an 82 yr old. I meet her in the ER at 2:00am and most of the staff was polite, with a few grumps, but Dr. Corbett was the first Orthopedist to come see my mom. Even at 2 am she was very cheerful and put mom at ease about what would be happening and my moms a talker so she kept her around to answer all her questions. Made the beginning of a long week and still a long recovery much better! Highly recommend
