Good surgery, bad communications
Dr Ting replaced my hip about a year ago. The surgery and recovery went fine, but numerous poor communications from his staff before and after surgery made my experience more stressful than it should have been.

Great team, great results
Dr. Ting performed total joint replacements on both my arthritic hips. He does the anterior approach which makes recovery much easier. Kelsey and Jo provided outstanding education and service. When my insurance company initially denied my surgery, they worked to get approval. They provide excellent pain management strategies and even a text-based support system. I couldn't be happier with the care I received from Dr. Ting and his team.

Dr. 'Pain Free'
Dr. Ting is a very precise surgeon. He repaired a meniscus tear and within three days I was pain free. Recovery was a breeze. He is very attentive and focused on helping his patients.

I’ve had two close friends have their hips replaced and recovery was much longer and more painful for them. I basically sailed through my replacement with Dr Ting and am looking forward to having my other hip replaced.

Dr. Ting performed my 4th or four hip replacements I had to have in 2017. The first three surgeries were done by other doctors at another hospital. Thanks to Dr. Ting, my hip is back to full function and I am no longer on any medication for my hip pain.

Dr. Ting performed a complete right knee replacement for me. He is cautious regarding surgery trying alternative measures prior to an operation. He is precise and through in his evaluations and explanations. The operation, my opinion is a huge success for me. My PT professional has stated over 95% of his clients cannot perform the regime I have began. I attribute this to Dr. Ting and his orthopedic abilities. He is serious regarding problems, but has a sense of humor. Highly recommended!!

I did NOT have Dr. Ting for surgery and cannot speak to his training or technical skills. However, the impression Dr. Ting left after a consult was so negative that I would never consider him for surgery. I found him utterly uncaring about anything other than statistical outcomes (he has a background in economics) and unfeeling in the extreme. Again, I cannot speak to his skills, but as a physician, I found him far more technician than human.

Dr. Ting went above and beyond for me. I walked in his office with a broken hip, had never seen him before, and he pushed for my surgery in 2 days. He was amazed at how I was still walking. I am a RN and still amazed at the care I received. He called my nurses and I twice daily. Dr's like Dr Ting are far and few. I trusted him with my life, and not once did he disappoint me. He is the only one I would have replace my knees or hips, explained the how and why, making sure we understood everything!
