I am so glad to have found Dr. Spetko when we moved to Tennessee 3 years ago. He is always patient, kind and very knowledgeable. He sits and listens. Never rushed. He shows compassion and respect. I always know he has my best interest in his care. I do hope he stays where he is. It would be a great loss to us. Good doctors are hard to find that genuinely care about their patients.

Dr Spetko is very polite and professional. He listens to your concerns, discusses options and treatments in terms the average person can understand. I highly recommend him as your physician

Dr. Spetko is a rare find! I’m 71 and have seen many doctors over the course of my years, but never one as caring and knowledgeable as him. He makes you and your wellbeing the center of his focus and you never feel rushed. This is my second visit and feel blessed to have found him. I am on no meds and he works with me to keep it that way. Doctor Spetko has actually inspired me to try harder be a healthier person. He and his staff are awesome!

My appointments with Dr Spetko are very informative. He takes his time to listen and answer all questions I feel lucky to find such a good Dr. I trust Dr Spetko with my health and concerns. I do wish I could talk directly to the nurses on the phone at Ascension St Thomas. That is ,unfortunately, not their company policy.

Prompt care upon arrival

Dr. Spetko has been my primary physician for over 2 years now. I called his practice 30 minutes before they were closing and was able to get an appointment first thing the next morning. I would highly recommend Dr. Spetko.

As a new patient, I had an excellent encounter with Dr. Spetko, he is a good listener and takes his time to diagnose. His schedules were very busy, yet I did not feel rushed. He gave his full attention and spent sufficient time for the consultation. He is caring, respectful and knowledgeable. I selected Dr. Spetko as my new General Practitioner when my prior GP retired. Dr. Spetko has listened and given some quality feedback on my questions about my health. I had his undivided attention and was impressed with his detailed responses. He never seemed to be rushed or in a hurry to move on to another patient.

Dr. Spetko is the kind of doctor who is genuinely concerned with your health. He listens, problem solves, and finds a solution to give you healthcare that has positive goals and outcomes. If you are doctor shopping or impatient to wait occasionally for proper, fun, knowledgeable healthcare and a positive experience this doctor is not for you. Dr. Spetko is actually the best primary care I have received in over a decade. He has changed the game in my health for the better. His bedside manner is absolutely the best I have ever encountered. He is so intelligent and helps you to understand about your health and the effects of your medications. If you are in genuine need he will assist you in anyway possible. Under his care I have lost weight, met personal goals, and have thrived on the maintenance medications I am on. St. Thomas has the best staff you will ever encounter. If your experience is negative that would be rare. The girls at the front desk are absolutely the best!

Dr. Spetko is our family doctor for a decade and he is the best doctor anyone can ever wish for.

I was a patient of Dr. Spetkos for over 10 years until I moved to another area. I have tried to find a new physician with the same knowledge and character as Dr. Spetko, but it has sadly proven to be impossible. If you're reading this review it's because you're either looking for a new physician (new to area, insurance coverage) or contemplating a change of physicians (unhappy with your current physician). In either case, please give Dr. Spetko a call, you'll be very happy that you did.

He has been my doctor for almost 20 years. He is an excellent and caring doctor. Sharon who is at the front desk is very pleasant and very helpful whenever you call for an appointment or test results. I always feel that I am in good hands with Dr. Spetko.
