I saw Dr. Halikis for a second opinion about surgery that had been strongly recommended by another doctor. His exam was very thorough, he listened carefully, he was kind, patient, considerate, and respectful. I am deeply grateful for his care and so very glad I saw him.

The doctor was very good at describing what happened to my finger. He ordered new x-rays and told me how we will move forward. I hope the making of a splint will go as well as my first visit.

Dr. Halikus is a perfectionist, he takes time to explain everything and answer all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend him to everyone I know and don't know. He is absolutely a fantastic doctor and really knows his trade and very cautious with my care.

Horrible Care!!
I had an appointment with Dr. Nicholas Halikis for a follow up visit for an arthritic thumb. I checked 15 minutes prior to my scheduled time, then waited 40 minutes before being called into an exam room. The nice technician apologized for the delay. I told her that it was a bit disrespectful that Halikis’ patients were being made to wait so long. She stated he was made aware of long wait times. The technician took me into an exam room, asked a few questions, then stated that Dr. Halikis would be right with me. After waiting around for an additional 20 minutes I walked out of the exam room and told the technicians that I was leaving as I had already waited an hour past my scheduled wait time. They all perked up and someone hurried to get Dr. Halikis. At that point I was well on my way out the door! Again I stated how disrespectful he was. Obviously Dr. Halikis is scheduling more patients than he can handle to obtain revenue in lieu of providing quality medical care.

I have been going to Dr.Halikus for over 40 years and wouldn't have anyone else, he is very through and leaves nothing to chance. He listens to you and answers all your questions and concerns. Dr. Halikus is the best doctor, I wish all doctors were like him. 6 weeks ago I told him my thumb nail hurt, he immediately had an exray taken, and said he sees something he doesn't like, he sent me to the hospital and said he was doing surgery right away, it's a good thing that he did. It turned out I had a bad Staff infection and it ate up part of my bone in my thumb, he cleaned it out and immediately put me on high doses of antibiotics 24 hrs.a day for 6 weeks. You can barely see the incision. I just can't say enough about him. I highly recommend Dr.Halikus
