Will never understand why I was abruptly turned away and kicked to the curb with no explanation as to why this doctor would no longer see me. Performed a procedure and received a call from his nurse stating " dr armstrong is no longer able to see you". Left in the cold. Been in horrible pain for years now and not able to work. Cant feed my daughters more than 2 meals a day with what we are left enduring. I deserve an explanation and referral to someone who can help me. Never after having served my country did I expect to be treated this way by a doctor. This proves some people are only in it for the money. I only hope others havent been left as I have by him. God bless those who are left with no options and have contemplated suicide because of people like this.

I am a nurse that works on a post-surgical unit who cares for Dr. Armstrong's surgical patients. I have been working there for over 2 years and wanted to share my experiences that I have had him. I hope that this may help someone in the decision-making process when they are facing the long, challenging process of finding a surgeon amidst the difficult times in their lives. Dr. Armstrong is the purest example of our hospital's mission, values, and philosophy. He is also an exceptional surgeon, specializing in the most complex hernia, infected mesh, and abdominal wall reconstructive surgeries from all over WI and surrounding states. He is the kindest, most down to earth MD I have ever met. I watch and listen as he ever so calmly, yet passionately, speaks with his patients who have been suffering for years prior to coming to him. I can see the sense of hope in their eyes as if coming to the realization that they're finally on the road to recovery. I am honored to work next to him.

Horrible experience with this man, very quick to push surgery on me. A surgery it turns out I didn't need at all come to find out. Then when all the complications began afterward, he couldn't care less and in fact suggested a different unnecessary procedure to remedy it. I have severe pain/debilitating nerve damage from his agenda to sell unnecessary surgery. I can no longer enjoy life at such a young age from the permanent damage his greed caused. Go to a different surgeon!

His thoroughness and amazing knowledge and expertise is why I decided to pick Dr. Armstrong for a recent hernia repair. Dr. Armstrong was a second opinion, although he should've been my first. Amazing bedside manner!
