He read my CPAP machine well
The visit to Dr. Yu went well. I have no complications and reading the other reviews I'm happy I don't. He seems to be very competent in the CPAP area.

Dr. Yu was my doctor in Kennewick, Washington.
Dr. Yu diagnosed me with Inherited Congenital Alpha1 Antitrypsin when I was about 75. All other doctors had missed it for all that time. He left Kennewick 3 years ago. I recently faced a change in my health which compromised my lung diagnosis and my present medication. I wanted a new pulmonologist so called his office (a couple thosand miles away) asking for a name. I hoped to receive a text. I received a call and a 15 min discussion of my problem.

Dr Yu has a limited view of medicine. He does not prescribe medication and will not consider other. medical conditions that may occur. I had an incident of chest pain while in his office and have cardiovascular disease. His response was to immediately shoot out of the room and told an aid to look after me. So much for his MD degree. He is probably very good at reading and understanding the data from the CPAP machines as at one time he made a correction to mine which was beneficial. Go figure!

Terrible Experience. Arrogant, has no filter on what he says about others or his opinions about things unrelated to the purpose of his services. I have never encountered a doctor that acted in such an immature and small manner. His staff are equally reflective of the same traits. This guy should find another profession. I know people (and for a period of time myself) that work crappy jobs, for crappy pay, in crappy conditions that maintained a better disposition than this guy.

I won't recommend him but I will probably continue to see him. I had a routine appointment at 845 this morning. I was on time. I was ushered to a room about 0900. But is 940 and I still haven't seen the doc. I would go elsewhere but we only have a few options for sleep doctors in this area.

I have sleep apnea, central and obstructive. Dr. Yu was very helpful in interpreting the data from my machine. He also ordered lab work to determine other factors involved. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Yu, I am satisfied with his delivery of care. I found the front desk personnel to be unprofessional, rude, and disorganized during each of my interactions either in person or on the phone. During my 30 minute wait to see Dr. Yu and observing the staff during that time, it was clear to see that what I had experienced in regards to my interaction was standard.

Dr. Yu doesn't listen. His opinions & thoughts are the only ones that matter to him. He has been know to call me at 8pm on Sunday night to make sure I know about my appointment on Tuesday. I have been told that he is more interested in the mighty dollar that patients. Don't expect more than 10 minutes with him. I am looking for a new pulmonologist.
