Dr. Neil Shinder, MD

Dr. Shinder took care of my diabetes and kept it under control. I didn't want a specialist for my diabetes and this is not his specialty but he was willing to care for that. Also, I have asthma and he was on top of making sure I had the right medications so I could breathe well. He also cared for my health overall.

I had a very thorough consultation with Dr. Shinder. He listened to all of my issues and discussed my complete medical history. I have never been happier with a visit at a doctor.

Dr. Shinder has been treating me for sleep apnea and asthma for approximately 3 years now. He is patient and listens to whatever I have to say. He answers any and all questions that I might have. I never feel rushed on my visits with him. His medical knowledge is definitely top notch. Dr. Shinder is a very caring physician. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a physician.

Dr. Shinder has taken care of me for the treatment of Asthma, Emphysema, And Primary Care for over 10 years. I can not recommend this doctor more highly. If you are looking for a caring physician and staff this is the practice for you.

Dr. Shinder, his Office Manager, his nurses, and his front desk staff have always treated me with professionalism, kindness and the best of care. Dr. Shinder LISTENED to me when I told him I had a “rattle” in my chest. Dr. Shinder diagnosed me with a rare lung disease. He told be that he needed to send me on to a specialist, telling me he wanted me to get the best care available. By doing that, my illness has been diagnosed and treated while still mild, adding, I believe, years to my life.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shinder. I have never before had the an internist who was also a pulmonologist. Having allergies and asthma, it is crucial to be able to get prompt and excellent care. Dr. Shinder has never disappointed with regard to prompt and excellent care. He is always willing to listen to a patient's concerns and answer all questions. Truly he is a gem.

I’ve seen Dr. Shinder a few times for a medical issue. After several months of seeing other doctors and not finding success, Dr. Shinder addressed my concerns within two weeks. He accommodated my schedule and he is extremely attentive. The people on his staff are helpful, too.

I started using Dr Shinder and his staff about five years ago. I wasn't looking for a group practice, rather I was looking for personal doctor who could be my primary doctor as well as a pulmonary specialist who showed sincere concern for his patients. As they saying goes: he has an amazing bedside manor. He always shows deep concern for my needs along with his amazing staff. If I ever need to see him right away, the staff fits me into the schedule. One of the best doctors I've ever used!!!

He is such an easy doctor to speak with. He is very knowledgeable.

I have used Dr Shinder for years. I first used him for my asthma and now continue for my apnea. I use my voice for my living and I attribute my cpap success to his follow up and education. All my visits are thorough and never feel rushed. My health has improved with his advice.
