RUDE
Do NOT use this doctor!!!! Dr. Horlick is rude, dismissive, and straight up antagonistic if you ask any questions or have concerns. I’m an easy patient who just needed new birth control. I NEVER complain about anything. But I had to this one time because he did my implant wrong and it was bulging out of my skin. He ignored me and told me there was nothing he could do.

I was scheduled for a c-section for January 3, 2014 but started having contractions on December 29th. I went to the hospital and Dr. Skinner was the doctor that day. She sent me home and when I return she gave me meds for the loan because she said it wasn’t active labor. She said it was Braxton Hicks. The next morning Dr. Horlick came in to check on me and after having a contraction I went into an emergency c-section. I really appreciate and thank Dr. Horlick for doing my c-section because I was in so much pain and Dr. Skinner said she wouldn’t do the surgery. Dr. Horlick said it was real labor but I never dilated. The baby was born after 4 hours of surgery. She needed help breathing and cried after they worked on her. Unfortunately Dr. Horlick cut too low and cut my bladder in half and doctors came in to assist. I now have health issues to deal with because of this. So my rating is kind of mixed.

Been the greatest doctor when I was pregnant with my son 6 years ago, the most humble and patient doctor I had. He always explained every problem or the process of what I was going through with my pregnancy. When it was time for my son to be born he was right there when I needed him, even when I had to make the decision of getting a emergency c-section when it came to my sons life & myself during my labor. Even after my labor, I was lucky to find Dr. Horlick at the DC Facility when I was going through my health issue after 4 years and he still remembered me and he is still sweet and never made me feel uncomfortable at all.... I chose him and will continue to if I find him again because of his work and his answers he gives with no holding back when it comes to your health. We need more doctors like him in this medical field!

My experience with Dr. Horlick was awful. I was a low risk pregnancy and I had a healthy labor, progressing normally. I was seeing the group of midwives that he was in practice with at the time. He was in the room every 30 minutes to suggest a c-section. In the end, he forced me into a C-section once my baby was already in the birth canal and threatened general anesthesia if I did not comply immediately. He put both of us in danger with his hastiness.

I saw him at his old practice, he changed practices and continued with him. This new group is so much better.

Dr. Horlick is great. I've really warmed up to him. The first time I met him, he seemed really quiet and had an almost nervous quality to him, but I've seen him two more times, for a pap, and some other female issues, and with each visit, he has been more and more open, and helpful in addressing my concerns or questions. I'm pretty happy so far with Dr. Horlick's bedside manner--some people just aren't outwardly neurotic and loud (like myself). I will keep seeing him; he's awesome.
