Dr. Neil Greenspan, MD

Dr Greenspan met me briefly in the hospital for 2 minutes and told me he wouldn't take any time to explain the risks or benefits of biologics, my concerns were not relevant, and that if I'm scared to take the meds it's simply because I'm uneducated although he said he wouldn't be wasting an hour to educate me ( after 2 minutes literally). Also that he is covering for the weekend and doesn't care to waste any time talking to me about any concerns. Horrible bedside manner, dismissive,made me feel unimportant, and upset me I don't even want to work with his team now but I already came to the hospital and now they're my referred doctors and will take me even longer for follow up care to find a new doctor. I never want this doctor because he is a rude person who doesn't care about people. Shouldn't be a doctor with that type of attitude. Horrible manners. Doesn't answer questions, believes he is God's gift to universe and we are all peasants how dare we ask questions about potential risks

My wife takes a very strong med (buprenorphine) for chronic pain and has a progressive neurological condition, Both strongly interfere with her memory. So, it is important that her medicine records be up to date, and that a knowledgeable care partner be present to answer questions and receive information.These conditions were not in hand today during her procedure. Out-of-date records (!) required correction, but her care partner was not allowed to be present during questioning, nor during discharge afterwards.

I would nit return to Dr Greenspan. He did an endoscopy on me several years ago and I felt my followup with him was very quick and dismissive. I was recently referred to a different doctor in this practice only to learn upon arrival that I had to see Dr Greenspan. The first few minutes of the visit he cross examined me for staying away all those years. Then on impulse he said I was on too much stomach medication which he later agreed I needed. . The visit was strained and very uncomfortable and I will never return to that practice.

Prescribed two of the same types of medications causing fatigue and dehydration resulting in trip to ER. Did not give opportunity for questions.

Doctor was impatient and dismissive. I would not return.

Dismissive, rushed, does NOT listen, didn't explain anything, and wasn't interested in my husband's concerns. Caused GREAT pain during the exam when my husband went there because of pain. Cold and rude. Prescribed something that he admitted didn't think would work that also causes headaches, one of my husband's issues, which he would have known about if he had listened to anything that was said.

Was very informative.
