My wife really loved Dr. Adelman but the front office manager his wife is ridiculously rude, discourteous, and not flexible at all. Over the last three years My wife has been required to have an office visit every 60 days, according to my calculations that is 6-7 times a year equating to at least 36 appointments give or take. The office manager/wife does not ask what appointment dates or times will work for her but schedules the appointment and that's it. Unfortunately, My wife has had to cancel or reschedule 8 times over the last three years. She is a school teacher with two titanium rods in her back with 46 screws. SHE IS AT LEAST STILL WORKING and not living off of the government like so many. This clinic has absolutely no flexibility when it comes to scheduling. As A high school teacher my wife is often time required to attend last minute meetings, deal with students and parents that require immediate attention, as well as parent our two teenaged daughters. Dr. Adelman has always been very kind and understanding to my wife, MRS. ADELMAN on the other hand is vicious. We just received a letter in the mail stating that my wife will no longer be cared for by Dr. Adelman and she probably needs to find another doctor in the "Yellow Pages. I can't make this up, it is in writing on their clinic letterhead. This is truly tragic as my wife needs the nerve medications in order to function, and even more tragic is this clinic run by Mrs. Adelman has zero empathy for hard working adults that put their trust in Dr. Adelman. I am sure he probably does not even know that this letter was sent even though he promised my wife that he would "Always" be her Doctor. Don't do business with these people, unless you're a pain med junkie that can stay at home and not need to work, that way you'll be able to make every appointment 6-10 times a year without cancelling or rescheduling.

The doctor, as we remember.
Seriously, you need to ask yourself do you want a Doctor whocan direct you into a healthy life or someone to hold your hand and pat you on the back and say good job when you’re just feeling sorryfor yourself. Doctor Adelman has been keeping me going for over five years. He is respectful, understanding and is more than willing to help you in yourquest of life. My advice is, if you want someone who can provide youwith what you really need he is your man.

Rude and Unprofessional Red Headed Receptionist
Have gone in a few times. Dr. Neil Adelman is a good Doctor and a nice guy. However, the entire experience is overshadowed by how mean the red headed receptionist is!!! She is extremely rude, condescending, unprofessional and borderline evil. I would like to say it must just be me, but I've seen her treat 6 other patrons the same way. Now, I'm hearing the same talk about her around town. It's terrible to think that a member of your staff can be so devestational to a practice!

I called to make an appointment and have never been talked to in my life as rudely as the receptionist spoke to me. I called her out on it and she told me to deal with it. I can only imagine the level of care and service patients receive from this outfit. Stay far away from these characters.

Never go to his clinic! A loved one of mine has been without medications for the past few months because they don't know how to simply prescribe medicine. And instead of helping their patients his wife thinks it's her right to yell to the point where she has to make racial remarks, she has absolutely no filter. Please save yourself and loved ones from wasting your time and money on these useless people.

A DISAPPOINTED PATIENT. – Oct 03, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Adelman?
I will never recommend this pill pusher and his rn/wife thug He doesn't care about his patients, he makes sure he gets them addicted and stays that way. It's all about the money The staff is incompetent and rude. Wife/nurse is a crass, hateful, unhappy woman that thrives on brow beating patients. They hold all of the cards and never correct their mistakes but don't have any problem taking it out on the patient. Vickie Adelman is a bully and should never have been left around patients to care for. They overcharge their patients and the insurance companies, then turn around and bill you again. Never listened to what patient wanted just kept the addiction going.

The front staff is the worst I have seen, anywhere. They seem to be drunk with rudeness. I don't see how Dr. Adelman puts up with them. Sad state of affairs really with no real accountability. The Doc is probably counting the days to where he cashes out!

I loved the atmosphere in his office at first. For the last couple of months I have been belittled and made to feel like an idiot. The staff fielding calls have been rude and unfriendly. I love Dr Adelman but some of his staff have been abhorrent. We had a snowstorm and I live an hour and a half away, well I got my reminder call so I thought I still had my appointment. It took me 3 hours to finally get to his office only to find out it was closed. I was given no notice, nothing. I called the office and let them know what had happened. The lady on the phone belittled me saying" it's common knowledge that we would be closed for a snowstorm". I let her know that it was clear enough where I lived. "It's not clear here and you should have known that...". How dare she treat me like a child. Is she better than me? Is it because I am in pain management after a terrible accident? Horrible, horrible lady. I sobbed for hours after she talked to me. I am as good as she is so why?

Dr Adelman is a superb doctor who cares about his patients, their physical needs and emotional needs. He treats my Trigeminal Neuralgia after 2 brain surgeries that helped some but not enough. I don't know why everyone is complaining about his wife, Vicki. I have found her to be intelligent, kind, caring, and funny. I really like her and trust her as my nurse. I would suggest don't judge people until you have walked in their shoes. I like the front office staff too. They have always been very helpful when I have called between appointments. I highly recommend Dr Adelman for all of your medical needs. He is very intelligent and doesn't run unnecessary tests like some doctors do nowadays.

I think very highly of his this doctor has treated my sister, but his wife is always rude and she crys every time she has to deal with her. She says that the doctor more than makes up for how short & rude she is. Dr. Adleman is the best doctor in the area and is certainly worth ignoring the wife who is always rude All you have to do is read the other reviews. Dont let this scare you away from a fabulous caring compassionate doctor. He's 1 in a MILLION

I couldn’t get past the RUDE office staff They were very rude. The woman I spoke with had the same last name as him. I’ve heard WONDERFUL things about this doctor from several people but I knew ahead of time that he’s the only GOOD thing about this office.

Hard to rate this physician. Keep getting stonewalled by his rude staff. He is our last resort and we try to be patient. If they would at least return our calls. I hope no one has to endure what my sister is going through. And for them to not care is sad.
