Unprofessional rude, poor scientific knowledge
Extremely rude and condescending to myself and husband.. from the very first visit. I gave her the benefit of the doubt- maybe she had an off day but the other 3 visits were the same. I cannot believe she is a doctor and hired by Stanford. Her rudeness was unbelievable. I was shocked. I am a very patient and forgiving individual but this level of condescension was intolerable. Something’s wrong-maybe she’s overwhelmed and needs to retire! I agree with other reviewers about her unprofessionalism. Avoid this doctor at all costs!!! I would give her minus stars if I could. Never ever met a doctor this insulting.

One of the worst docs I have ever come across. She is needs to retire than work. She does not have any basic knowledge .I even wonder where she got her education from. I went to her two times and both the times she took my condition too light and when I met with experts they said if the primary has identified it early and I would have got better faster ,all that anxiety. Please don't go to her.She absolutely does not know anything. I am surprised Stanford hired her.

Dr Gautam herself, and her front office staff, didn't bother to inform returning patients that they no longer accept Anthem Blue Cross insurance starting 2017. (They did accept the insurance in 2016 and prior.) Returning patients are shocked to receive bills demanding full payment of office visits. It is VERY UNETHICAL!
