Unprofessional and salesman
I am a young woman and came here after being told he was the best in the region, I was very disappointed. Within 5 minutes of my first and only consult with him, BEFORE even performing a pelvic exam and with NO imaging to reference by him or previous doctors (MRI, US, CT, Xray, nothing), he suggests SURGERY, as well as a name brand treatment that is not covered by insurance. From the moment I found him, his website and even google listing seemed salesman-esque, promoting many name-brand procedures that often aren't covered by insurance. This was a red flag but I ignored it because I was desperate, and had seen his name everywhere,. I'm now thinking maybe this publicity was paid for or incentivized considering all these advertisements from medical companies both online and in the office.

Horrible, greedy doctor
Dr. Kohli was dismissive and rude from our very first appointment. My condition is so severe and I’m so desperate for treatment, that I was willing to tolerate how horribly he treated me. There were 2 separate times where I cried after our appointments because he made me feel so awful. He will push expensive treatments not covered by insurance on you, and will spend almost no time with you during your appointments. I wasted literally thousands of dollars on this doctor and my condition still isn’t improved. Thankfully I’m seeing other providers who actually spend time with me, and when I’ve mentioned my horrible experience with Dr. Kohli, it was clear from their reactions that I was not the first person who told them this. My pelvic floor PT, who works at a major hospital in the area, told me they no longer refer patients to him because of how many of them have had horrible experiences. Please stay away from this doctor - I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I did with him.

Pelvic pain
I am a 28 Y.O. female. I had an overall very positive experience with Dr. Kohli. For months I was dealing with pelvic pain and my PCP and gyno were unable to pinpoint the source. In all honesty, they made me feel like I was going crazy because they didn't really believe me and thought the pain was psychological. Finally I received a referral to see Dr. Kohli and within 5 minutes he diagnosed me appropriately and explained that all of my symptoms were valid and consistent with these diagnoses. I felt heard for the first time in a long time. Cried happy tears of relief with my husband when I got home. While I'm still a work in progress, Dr. Kohli made me feel listened to and respected. I am forever appreciative of his help.

He never fully examined me after surgery to explain why I was bleeding. He brushed me off. I had a complete pelvic floor restorations and my anterior walk if my vagina was not properly done and has to be redone. Further, he pushed me to give a ‘good review’ with a laptop the second I came in for a postoperative visit. He always made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. He highly encouraged me to take part in two non-proven exercise programs with fancy equipment since debunked by two follow ups I have had with too urogyn surgeons. These were very expensive out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance. One of them made me bleed postoperative and I had to be cauterized by another surgeon who couldn’t believe someone of his level would tell me to do this therapy which wasn’t even for the problem I had. I have to have another surgery. He doesn’t care about his patients. If you you dig will find horrible reviews masked by the new reviews he asked his patients to write.

Dr. Neeraj Kohli was recommended to be the best doctor for repairing pelvic floor issues. Although that may be for some women, I was made to feel an inconvenience. This doctor was so eager to leave the office every time I had an appointment; even during the initial consult. THERE ARE STUPID QUESTIONS, Nadia, his PA-C, made me feel the same way. I really did not want to deaL with the office. However, I was in a desperate situation, and needed surgery. 6 months after surgery, I was in another doctor’s office, same specialty, after reoccurrence of all prolapses, and trying to explain away why Kohli didn’t perform certain procedures. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS PATIENT COUNT, MONEY, AND HIMSELF.

Post childbirth issues in pelvic area even sensation and looks. Insurance covered for most of it to be fixed and I opted for the PRP O shot. Dr Kohli and staff are the best. Don’t trust anyone else with that complex procedure!

I can't say enough about this doctor. His kindness, compassion and expertise are outstanding. I have been in a pain crisis for 2 years and have been to a number of specialists. Dr. Kohli is the first specialist to come up with a strategy to address the issue and acted promptly. His staff is as wonderful as he is. I was desperate for relief and he is truly helping me.

Dr. Neeraj Kohli at Newton Wellesley is fantastic. Very knowledgeable about unique gyn issues (dyspareunia, hypertonic pelvic floor dysfunction). I had the runaround w/doctors for years & after finally getting a diagnosis I had to relocate to Boston & I was lucky to find Dr. Kohli who understood my issue and diagnosis right away, and suggested a better treatment plan that I've been very happy with. He has great bedside manner and happy to explain anything in detail.
