Neal Zimmerman is a fantastic doctor. He has way more bedside manner than most doctors these days. He is calm, sure, timely, and the rest of his office is great and super-convenient. Recommend 100%

Perfect choice
Dr. Zimmerman was referred to me by a good friend. She praised him and his staff. I now know why and will do the same. I've been attended to by many doctors and he, by far, is one of the absolute best. He exudes, knowledge, caring, and professionalism. I am most grateful for him.

Top notch hand surgeon.
Dr. Zimmerman was professional, friendly and really was interested in getting to know you. I only went in to get 3 stitches removed on my thumb from a cyst removal 3 weeks ago and it only took less than 2 minutes. Our 10 minute conversation afterwards took longer than the stitch removal. He is such a friendly guy!

Healing hands
The personal touch as stitches were removed from a benign cyst. I had not learned earlier from the pathology report that the strange growth on middle left finger was non-cancerous. I wonder if there is a report I could put in Jhu myChart so my other physicians are aware?

I highly recommend!
Doctor Neil Zimmerman is very personable, highly skilled and answers all questions you may have. I have had 2 surgeries performed by him and both went exactly as planned. He is wonderful at putting patients at ease, both before & after procedures.

Recent bisit
Dr Zimmerman is conscientious and empathetic physician who has an excellent bedside manner. He is a good listener and involves his patients in the decision making process after offering alternatives for treatments. I have been a patient of his for many years and have referred numerous friends and family members without hesitation or reservation; and I intend to do so in the future.

The Best!
Dr Neil Zimmerman is wonderful. Very calm presence. He explains everything clearly. I have seen him twice over the past few years for finger surgeries. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a good orthopedic surgeon.

Thumb surgery

Excellent doctor!
Dr. Neil Zimmerman is an excellent but also a very kind and considerate doctor. He explains everything beautifully. I have been seeing him for several years, starting with a very successful wrist surgery, followed by several appts to take care of finger injuries. I would highly recommend him and always do!

Excellent Customer Service
The lady at check desk was friendly. Dr. Zimmerman was friendly, funny and through. He made a scary situation not seem so scary. I would highly recommend this place if you ever have an issue with your hand or shoulder.

Not Happy
Went for 2 finger numbness with pain in shooting through thumb. Spent a total of 5 minutes to say get a EMG which is out by 5 weeks. No guidance on what to do in the meantime
