  • "I had PRK done to both eyes, with great success. Dr. Sher and his staff are very knowledgeable and took great care of me during and after the treatment. I would definitely recommend him."

  • "Dr. Sher has been wonderful to work with. I knew I wanted PRK at some point, so I had been working with him as an ophthalmologist for years. He explained the procedure thoroughly, but never pressured me to have it done before I was ready. Now that it's done, I'm thrilled with the results! He explains all the details, answers any and all questions, and is very available for follow-up concerns or questions!"

  • "The level of care and attention I got during this process was extraordinary. I was informed of exactly what to expect before, during and after the 2 procedures (1 for each eye). Dr Sher called me himself later in the day after each procedure to see how I was doing and answer any questions. The end result confirms this man's talent better than I possibly can: I had 20/100 vision going in, and I now have 20/15 vision. I'm constantly "showing off" my vision in the car, reading signs & license plates well before anyone else can make them out. I can't overstate how pleased I am with Dr Sher, his staff and his organization.”"

  • "I think he is one of the best eye doctors in this area and his quality of care is fabulous. He is very knowledgeable, professional and responsive. His bedside manner is great and treatment is extremely effective. The staff is also very friendly and helpful."

  • "Dr. Sher and the rest of the staff at Eye Care Associates have been a pleasure to deal with from my initial consultation in early 2005 to now, 7 years later. I can't say enough about how friendly everyone is and the eye doctors (including Dr. Sher) take as much time as necessary to answer every question and I feel that even basic eye exams are more thorough here than elsewhere. I went to Dr. Sher based on his reputation and experience. He is the only Dr. I know of that doesn't operate on both eyes at the same time and at first that was annoying, but I believe that the outcome is better doing the eyes at different times. Certainly with PRK it was the only reasonable approach given that the time to heal is longer (but the results are better) than with LASIK. I'll admit to being nervous when I had the surgery but I am so pleased with the results I can't recommend laser vision correction and Dr. Sher enough.”"

  • "Dr. Sher is an excellent ophthalmologist and his staff is great. He is straightforward and offers good recommendations regarding your eye health and any concerns or issues. I have been going to this practice for several years now. The technician and Dr. Sher are almost always on time. The exam is thorough and I always feel I receive good advice. Dr. Sher is very knowledgeable and I feel very comfortable with his opinions."
