Dr. Neal Berkowitz, MD

Dr. Berkowitz is an exceptional physician whose skill, professionalism, and kindness set him apart. He combines an impressive medical expertise with a genuine care for his patients, making every visit not only insightful but also incredibly pleasant. What truly stands out is how he fosters a warm, welcoming environment, where I feel listened to and valued. For the first time, I actually look forward to my appointments—not just for his medical advice, but for the great conversations we share. His approach goes beyond just treating symptoms; he builds a meaningful connection that makes me feel truly cared for.

I will be 65 years old in a few weeks and I've honestly ever had 2 fantastic doctors in my life.... and Dr B is one of them. He has been very patient with me, taking time to listen and is compassionate and understanding. I feel confident when I leave the office knowing that I had real professional medical help. He gets back to me quickly when I gave a concern. I will soon be retiring and want to keep him as my primary care. I talk kindly and generously about him when my coworkers and other people complain about their experience with the medical field

He is not a mental health professional but he clearly wants to be one. He was hyperfocused on grasping at prior abuse as a child to physical pain today. And, as he said I feel these pains because according to him my life is 'crappy'. Well it just got 'crappier' the day I came to his office. RUN- DONT WALK- RUN. Btw, if he really believed what he was saying, he should have given me a referral to a psychiatrist who focuses on psychosomatic disorders. But, he did not. He tried to make a mockery of me. I suppose my multiple surgeries were psychosomatic too. If that is true then the doctors that did the surgeries should be evaluated. This guy was horrible. Just a waste of gas money and speaking of abuse. My visit felt like emotional abuse. HORRIBLE

Extremely professional, efficient and attentive; thorough and pro-active; provides all things a patient could expect from a first class, thorough doctor. Staff also helpful and empathetic.

Great Doc! Really great guy-- despite my hit/miss attendance. Treated my kids and me for yrs. Wry humor with a twist, doesn't rush you in and out, caring, listens and goes out of his way to work with my western med skepticism and limited financial means. He gets five stars plus! But LHV Physicians Group gets Zero stars: untrustworthy, arrogant, and all/only about the money. Go elsewhere.

He was an awesome doctor! And also took the time to listen to his patients and actually try to help them and care about what they say.

I moved to town with my family and Dr Berkowitz has really been a great gift to our family.

Uhh I guess I'll give this guy 5 stars from his sense of humor alone lol doc is the best doc I've had after years of not getting the rite treatment now know what is wrong with me!Thanks doc you're the best.
