Amazing Doctor and Human Being
Had my surgery today and I feelAmazing. When I arrived today I felt comfortable and relaxed. Would not have had anyone else to do this gallbladder removal. Love her so much and the staff

First my daughter than me!
I met Dr . Azikiwe this past summer when my daughter had an appendix removal. After seeing her thorough and caring demeanor with my daughter during her first surgery, I inquired about my abdominal surgery need. Had my surgery a couple days ago and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Dr. Azikiwe is an exceptionally skilled and caring surgeon. It is with absolutely no hesitation that I will recommend her to others. She is a true shining star!

Blown away...
My wife and I recently had the chance to meet with Dr. Azikiwe after about a month of multiple trips to and from the hospital dealing with complications from what was supposed to be an outpatient procedure with another hospital and Dr. We were needing a second opinion and she was recommended through a friend of the family. She was kind, attentive, and extremely clear in her explanations of what was causing the issues with my wife's health and recommended a plan of care moving forward. It was the first time in a month we actually understood with clarity, what was actually happening throughout this ordeal with this previous hospital. One of the best experiences I have personally ever had with a Doctor in my lifetime. Highly recommended.

Dr. Azikiwe made me feel at ease. So much so, that I drove 4 hours to have her do my surgery! I recently had a umbilical hernia, and she knocked my surgery out of the park! I have a bellybutton again!! I’m so happy with the results, and my overall experience with WakeMed! She was kind, compassionate, and informative. She listened to me, and made me instantly feel better. She made understand what was going on, and walked me step by step through what was going to happen. There’s no question in my mind- she’s the right choice! Thank you Dr. Azikiwe & WakeMed!
