Dr Zama is one of the best Cardio-thoracic surgeon in PA. He took my case when all said, I couldn't be helped. My problem was veins. My veins were not good enough. He said when I open you up I will find a vein to do the bypass. He did!! He saved my life. Shortly after the open heart surgery. I was diagnosed with lung cancer. He went in removed my lower right lobe. I am now Cancer free. He is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person. Thank you Dr. Zama!! Your the best!!

I used to worked with Dr Zama. His practice was way in advance then other local doctors. His patients was extubated early and had fast and super easy recovery and less complications, compare to other surgeons. Add to this his charming personality and extra time he is taking for explanations to the patients, you will conclude that you never will find better surgeon in this country or outside of the US.

Dr Zama saved my dad's life. Not once, but twice. My dad had a major heart attack app. 5 years ago, and the doctors at Poconos Medical Center consulted with Dr Zama, who guided them, as my father was a complicated case. He took the time to bring us into his office and answer every question. My father did well - until recently. He needed a pacemaker & once again, my dad was the difficult case. Dr Zama hugged us & sat with us & fixed him up again better than before. He is an angel of mercy.

I WOULD SAY THAT DR. ZAMA IS IN THE TOP OF THE LIST FOR HEART SURGEONS IN THE COUNTRY. I MAY ALSO RETRACT THAT STATEMENT AND SAY IN THE WORLD. IF IT WAS NOT FOR HIM AND HIS EXCELLENT TEAM I PROBABLY WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY. HE IS A VERY MUCH DEDICATED PERSON IN HIS PROFESSION AND A VERY CARING AND GREAT HUMAN BEING.
