Dr. Nazifah Khairullah, MD

We had this doctor on our last visit. She walked straight into the room and didn’t introduce herself or even say hello to myself or my child. She proceeded with the annual physical. When it came time to check my child’s (pre-K-age) private area, there was no explanation given to my child about what was to occur. I had to intervene to explain to my child why the doctor was checking. After she left the room, I took time to talk about the experience with my child because I found the entire situation invasive, especially because I’ve always taught my kids that our bodies cannot touched without our permission and that the doctor should’ve asked first and explained her actions. I was shocked that someone working in her field for so long would behave this way. I also brought up some concerns, which she quickly shut down. After the doctor was done, she left the room without a goodbye. Acquaintances have shared similar experiences.
